"Apparently I'm missing out on quite the interesting conversation," he commented wryly. "Guess I should probably see what that's about." He strode over, leaving Lily on her own as he rejoined the group of teens. "I'm almost hesitant to ask, but what exactly precipitated that outburst?" he asked, a teasing tone sneaking into his voice as he approached with his question.

He strode over, leaving Lily on her own as he rejoined the group of teens. "I'm almost hesitant to ask, but what exactly precipitated that outburst?" he asked, a teasing tone sneaking into his voice as he approached with his question.
