Jace's Place

A fairly typical afternoon is interrupted by a knock on the door. Standing there is a tallish woman... who doesn't quite fit with the surroundings. Her hair is a bit too dark of black, and her skin is a light shade of green, but it's more than that. It's like she looks wrong somehow; one might call her a different art style than the surroundings. She's wearing what appears to be a fairly typical professional outfit, resting one hand on her hips and examining whoever opens the door critically. She has a smile on, but not an honest one. A slightly venomous one.

All the same, she'll let whoever opens the door speak first.

The Castle Gallope

"Gosh I hope not. Even the most formal servants call me Lady Willa, and they really don't have to do that." she says, idly wondering if it's normal for centaur stallions to be leaning on mares. Isn't that usually a girl thing? Or do centaurs flip gender roles and no one told her?

Jace's Place

Jace answers the door, wearing a simple teal Henley and jeans, with socks but no shoes.
"Afternoon, can I help you?" he asks with a raised eyebrow, mostly politely.

Jace's Place

"Tale is, you're a caster of some repute." She steps forward, to lean on the doorframe. "I have need of such a thing. An indignity has been done to me, and my desire is to see it rectified. In short, I wish to be returned to my home, reversing the magic that brought me here."

Jace's Place

Jace frowns a bit at that explanation.
"I'll hear you out on what this 'indignity' is, but you should know that I'm no planeswalker. Dimensional travel is not something I know how to do." he explains.

Jace's Place

"Far simpler, the nature of the indignity is a planar transposition, not a realital one. But my nature is not that of a 'sticky' outsider; there is no lingering connection pulling me back. A banishment will be ineffective, making this situation more complex," she explains patiently.

Jace's Place

Jace shakes his head.
"I'm sorry, but I still don't think I can help you. I'm not a summoner, and planar travel is not any kind of spell I've ever figured out. I've always relied on others the few times I've ever done traveling of that sort." he admits.

Jace's Place

"My choices are limited; there's a powerful binding affect constraining me, and you are about in the center of it. No blame intended, but I don't think a more talented caster is available. Furthermore, expediency is more than a convenience:" she stops leaning on the door frame, revealing a discolored patch. "My nature isn't entirely cooperative with most of the natures around. I'm afraid that staying too long in an area would cause unneeded damage. So, a caster is needed, and you are my option."

Jace's Place

Jace frowns at the discoloration.
"I'm not sure what you mean by 'damage' but expecting any 'caster' to be able to do planar travel is like expecting any 'scientist' to know advanced chemical engineering. Unless you already know how to perform such a ritual there's nothing I can do to suddenly have this education and know how to do it."

Jace's Place

Her smile suddenly changes to a frown. "I! Don't! Have! A! Choice!" her form writhes a bit, before re-settling. "I need to leave, and it's beyond my abilities to do so. I NEED to leave. I am TRAPPED here, and I NEED to leave."

[Deathkeeper]

Jace's Place

"That's fine. Then Get. Someone. Else. I. Am. Not. A. Summoner."

Jace's Place

"No, no, no, no, no. There isn't anyone else!" She's very angry, and is growing increasingly erratic. "There isn't anyone else, you're here, in the area, no one else is."

[Deathkeeper]

Jace's Place

"Correction: no one's in the area. Because I don't know how to planar travel. So find a different area with someone who does. I don't know what to tell you that will make you understand that having magic does not mean I know how to help you." he says through clenched teeth.

[Recaiden]

Well, has anyone told you anything about being a centaur? Has anyone told Zack?
"Oh good. But how did this all come about?"
Being around Willa is so strange.

Jace's Place

She hisses through clenched teeth. "What is it, what is it, what is it you say? What is it you say to make people listen?" She stands there, ramrod straight for a moment.

"Oh, yes, people are going to die. That's right, I had forgotten about that."

[Deathkeeper]

The Castle Gallope

Willa sighs. "My brother made a deal with an extremely powerful entity because she did something mean to his boyfriend, and she decided to go nuts with his request instead of just doing something simple. That's really it." she says.

Jace's Place

Jace looks very, very angry at that.
"Are you threatening me?" he asks simply.

Jace's Place

She shrugs, suddenly changing back to a smile and a non aggressive but still vaguely predatory stance. "I don't know. I don't get it myself. It seems like an odd idea. Why are people who can die so afraid of it? In any case, the way that I corrode my surroundings will make the area less hospitable over time, and people will die. In fact, I was summoned in this area specifically for that reason. I don't understand the appeal, but I do know that many people do not like it when other people die."

Jace's Place

"Alright.
Then leave. Get out. Go somewhere else. Because I can't help you, and you standing here wasting time is apparently killing people. Because if you being here is going to kill people and you won't leave, then there's not much preventing me from burning you to ash right here." he says, a threat he'd never actually go through with.

[Lost_Deep]

Jace's Place

"I'm contained to this area, a few streets and many houses are the entirety of my range, and as I can't leave that area, people in it will eventually die. But, what is your reference to burning me to ash? This is not a thing that can occur." Her smile doesn't really shake in this time. And after a moment she goes back to leaning on the doorframe.

Jace's Place

"Get off my doorframe." he growls. And then,
"And if fire didn't work, I could try different elements until something did."

[Lost_Deep]

Jace's Place

She does get off the doorframe. "What is the meaning of 'work' here? I do not believe any element will have an appreciable affect on me."

[Deathkeeper]

Jace's Place

"Then please, enlighten me on what you recommend I do, considering that I have no idea on how to cast plane-shifting spells." he grumbles flatly.

[Lost_Deep]

Jace's Place

"Learn," she states simply, "Learning is the basis of being able to cast magic," she continues, completely oblivious to the holes in that argument.

[Recaiden]

Willa sighs. "My brother made a deal with an extremely powerful entity because she did something mean to his boyfriend, and she decided to go nuts with his request instead of just doing something simple. That's really it." she says.

"That sounds like quite a story. But maybe not for now."
Zack straightens up, putting his own arm more loosely over Willa's shoulders.
"Guess I'd better get started on knighthood."
Maybe she'll know how that should go. Maybe it'll be up to him. Like wrestling monsters.

The Castle Gallope

The answer might surprise him.
Nothing really to it. You're bound to these lands as long as you defend them, and should recover from injuries that you normally wouldn't. You'll have your theme and some armor, which should already be in your stall. We don't really have set rules, so it's open to interpretation. If I don't want you doing something, I'll let you know beforehand." she says simply.

[Recaiden]

"Bound? Like, I can't leave more than so far away from this castle?"
That would be a matter of some concern. Zack takes his arm back to himself as he starts walking in...someway. Gotta get used to this place. Best keep wandering until he comes across that stall.

[Deathkeeper]

The Castle Gallope

"Oh, you can, bound is just a metaphor thing. Duty and all that." Willa responds with a shake of her head.

[Recaiden]

Zack nods.
"That's a relief."
He's definitely in over his head, but not that far, thank goodness.
"Is there anything you do want of me?"
With that phrasing, he has to ask.

The Castle Gallope

Willa scratches the back of her head, considering the question.
"Right now? Not really. I'd suggest ya get familiar with what yer plannin' on doing, train a little, so if anythin' ever comes up you're actually ready. But other than that, there ain't much goin' on."

[Recaiden]

"Training sounds fine; getting ready to be a good knight."
Not that he knows what he's going to be doing (and leaving any additional meanings of those words aside).

"I should head home, get everything in order."
"But I won't be nearly as long in coming back here this time."

Willa's a bit surprised that he's leaving so soon, but she won't argue with it. This time.
"Well, alright then. Hope ya get everythin' sorted out."
