Phew, that was close. Thank goodness for the Crusader's ability to reroll one save per day!

MISTAKE: I forgot Tristan's casting of Bull's Strength. Yorrick actually has a result of 23 on this attack.

Looks like a probable hit, so damage (obviously the Merciful property of the sword is turned off for this fight) shall be rolled.

MISTAKE: Again, forgot bull's strength. That should actually be 21 damage. But the mummy has DR 5. So ACTUAL damage will be 16.

Yorrick take's up the Iron Guard's Glare stance, giving the Mummy -4 to hit on everyone but Yorrick.

Yorrick felt stunned for an instant by the creature's abominable wail. Staggered, helpless, he could not seem to move. The fiend went straight for him, charging towards the warrior at a seemingly unnatural speed. Virtually paralyzed by some supernatural fear, Yorrick could not react; he grimaced as the restless undead raked his flesh with its ancient embalmed claws.

Tristan was behind him and in need of protection against the unnatural beast before him, Yorrick knew that. Concentrating his willpower, he strove to throw off the fear that was clouding his mind. Suddenly, as if of their own accord, he could feel his limbs move. Focusing his mind on his blade, he brought forth an artistic stroke, one to inspire his allies' attacks against this desert-toughened foe. Aided by the strength imbued in him by Tristan's spell, his greatsword seemed as light as a rapier. Inspired by the openly bleeding claw wound, Yorrick brought forth a concentrated rage, numbing the pain, directing it towards his foe. His blade came down, swift and true, tearing into the lifeless flesh of the disturbingly awakened corpse before him.

As the mummy charges the brass dragon shoots fire(Lucky its a line) and the mummy got it all plus more. then Nina seeing the opportunity shoots it but the arrow failed to to damage to it(failed damage reduction)Then yorrick retaliates and almost cleaves it in half, but then neshi douses in fire with his sword and kills it.

Neshi knelt in front of the central idol to Horakhte, his stubbled head prickling in the early morning's cold. His forehead was to the stone hewn floor, delighting in the surface's rough texture that felt as if the masonry was shaped just yesterday.

His breathing was laboured as he tried to find the inner peace that meditation imparts... tried to bask in the warmth of his god... His soul's valour was great and yet his mind was roiling with alien thoughts. Horakhte's voice came to him from beyond the fold of ages, from beyond the ken of men but it was no longer the regal roar of Ra nor was it the Serpent's superlative song... No, the voice of his god was drowned to a whisper by the bickering of his spirit-shards... yet still he reached forth, trying to catch stray motes of sunlight...

Why do ye pray to this facade of falseness? Look where he has led you! Come unto me and let my power flow through you! You have the potential to be so much more than this pretender to the Throne of Skulls!

Bah. Give me the Throne of Reeds or even just the Sapphire Seat... I'll be content with those. Ultimate power corrupts absolutely, ya know...

Suddenly, NEshi's world erupts in a cascade of myriad sensations... the scents of a thousand delicate lotuses war with the sulfur's stench and the maddening reek of a battlefield's massacre. Neshi's vision ascends into the waking world and a horrid sight greets his gaze.

A monstrous abomination, bound with rotted linens and scabrous flesh stinking with the sepulchre's stench shambles towards the companions. Somehow, a Khy'ra had joined them in the night and blasted the servant of Set with its flaming breath... and yet it kept on coming. It ploughed through Nina's storm of arrows and slammed into Yorrick, raking age-hardened nails across the warrior's exposed arms. Even when it was cloven asunder, the two torn halves of its body continued to kick and flail about, throwing up terrible, choking fumes.

NEshi's eyes flared with a sudden azure light and he stepped forward, shield-hand on his khopesh's pommel. Passing beneath the stone wing of Horus' statue, he swept the flaming blade through the Servant's abominable corpse, crying out in a voice more clear than daylight, "PURIFY THE EVIL! By Horus and by Torm, I smite thee now and send thee to the foulest depths of the Abyss! Begone and trouble the world no more, misbegotten son of Set!"

Presently

Neshi's eyes have returned to their natural grey and yet he has remained silent through the march into the forsaken fane. He snarls at the portal they are about to pass and beckons wordlessly at the others as he starts through...

You see a Sarcophagus thats open and empty the bottom holds 4 jars one has a jackal headed top, one a falcon, on that looks like a man, and a baboon. Make a knowledge religion to know what it is

The juvenile dragon follows Yorrick into the new room, noting the absence of enemies. Then he turns to Neshi, whose earlier actions had also interested him.

"That was quite interesting to watch." The dragon says to him. "What did you mean when you spoke 'by Horus and by Torum'? Those are names I have never heard before."

Tristan carefully inspects the sarcophagus and the area around it trying to recall anything he learned in his years at the sanctum.

these are Canopic jar's probable of the mummy that attacked you, they contain the liver, lungs, stomach, and intestines. These organs were removed when the mummy was mummified, so that they would not taint the mummy or rot it. They are placed near the mummy because to live in the afterlife you need these organ.
