Re: Civ 5 GMR 16 Reject Earth Edition
The former - like I said, I haven't uploaded. It went ahead and played through city-states/barbarians when I hit Next, too, which should only happen if I'm the last human player in the turn order.

Re: Civ 5 GMR 16 Reject Earth Edition
Well the way I see it, either we can bang some more rocks together with Silverraptor dropping and rejoining, or Silverraptor can just hand a turn over to the AI. Silverraptor, your thoughts?

Re: Civ 5 GMR 16 Reject Earth Edition
All right, submitted turn.
If you were in the middle of a policy tree I don't think the AI is likely to wander off and buy something unrelated? Not quite certain how the AI handles taking over from a human, but left to their own devices they do complete policy trees fairly often...Avatar by GryffonDurime. Thanks!

Re: Civ 5 GMR 16 Reject Earth Edition
Spoiler: sunday spectator update
Utrecht guards report no problems with the savages.
Nor do the Palace guards.
As does Rotterdam's guards.
As our workband works on a river side farm.
Here we see the glorys that William of Orange forces his people to learn.
Here we see the city palace of Amsterdam.
As Rotterdam focuses on a lighthouse to put all others to shame.
Utrecht continues on a market under King William's orders.
Our government has undertaken no change since last time.
The scholars say we are best at crop yield and approval. Worst in nothing.
Here we see France trying to sway our citizens to visit. But they are finding little effect.
And our government's info on our rivals.

To Ottomans:
SpoilerThe Polynesian people are aware you are constructing the machu Pichu, similar to us. Our people would like to finish this project, especially after your completion of the Petra. If you so agree to halt Machu Pichu, the polynesian people are prepared to trade you all of our excess luxuries for 3 full trade agreements length. In other words, you have the luxuries for the initial trade and when that expires have the luxuries traded to you an additional 2 times. Would this be acceptable to you?

Re: Civ 5 GMR 16 Reject Earth Edition
Spoiler: Nerd-o-rama;Venice
Hello. Recently one of your aides proposed a deal with us.
A deal of mutual open borders, which seems like on the surface an even deal. However, once we thought about it in detail, we realized that it was not so.
We currently have no units that would be able to use the open borders, and by the time we got some over there it may well be half over. Furthermore it would give your tourism a slight but noticeable boost. So we cannot agree to this deal.
Can you offer something instead of, or in addition to mutual open borders.
~King William of Orange.

Re: Civ 5 GMR 16 Reject Earth Edition
Spoiler: Sunday spectator update extravaganza
At the seat of King William of Orange. We the scholars thee, record record births.
The savages however try to starve Utrecht out, However the people refuse to put up with this.
The Carthage people agree to an open borders.
Here we see Rotterdam's guards having no concerns.
Here we see workbands improving the terrain around our cities, on orders of William the Orange.
The Palace guards report all is well with William the Orange.
Our scout ships move past the Carthage cities.
Here stored in the libraries of the state. We see all the accumulated knowledge of the Dutch peoples.
Maps of glorious Amsterdam. Soon to finish it's universities.
Rottedam only barely behind the capital.
Utrecht however still has time to wait before it can finish it's intuition of higher learning.
King William of Orange has ordered that permanent diplomats be established in the minor nations of the world, this strange plan has caused a boon to our influence with the minor nations of the world.
The scholars say we are best in crop yield and approval, and worst in nothing.
Here we see French tourism working it's way into our citizens hearts.
Our government's info on our foes.
So it's past turn 100. My game plan right now is to focus on diplomacy. Using Patronage to control the world congress and harass my foes. I think my biggest problem will be my only being on 3 cities.
