They may have the same skill points put into it, but the stat mods would make a difference. Hide, which feeds off of Dex, could be better than Bluff, which feeds off Cha, despite having the same amount of skill points invested into them.

V not having Sunburst would explain preparing two Mind Blanks instead of Sunburst. Or 'this story would be over too quickly if propet optimization was used"...

Why didn't V have Mind Blank before arriving at Tinkertown?

Most likely she found a scroll for sale at the magic shop there and transcribed it to her spell book.

No it wouldn't, because she couldn't prepare mind blank, an abjuration, in her specialist slot.

I hate a song that makes you think that you are not any good. Because you are too old or too young or too fat or too slim. Too ugly or too this or too that. I am out to sing songs that will prove to you that this is your world no matter what color, what size you are, how you are built, I am out to sing the songs that make you take pride in yourself and in your work.

    Seems whimsically appropriate to me.

The problem with it is that you have to use minimum values, which means discounting intangibles like roleplaying XP, which means that often evidence that character has leveled will drop before the XP will tell you it's so. It's a sure method, providing you're not using garbage inputs, but it's a slow one.

But since you're curious I'll see if I can find or reconstruct the spreadsheet I used to get this far
I'd love to!! But there are many things I have absolutely no idea. For example, does the battle around 1018 give Roy some XP? Did Roy "defeat" Durkon* enough to gain XP? Does Blackwing encounter with the rats at 1020 give any XP to V? I'm sorry, I have a very basic knowledge of d&d :S.

It might all be continuous with the fight against Greg, probably, and almost certainly not since it's a net XP loss for V despite heavy "difficulty" (V didn't actually participate).
Why should a man be scorned if, finding himself in prison, he tries to get out and go home? Or if, when he cannot do so, he thinks and talks about other topics than jailers and prison-walls?

    These are good questions!

And now you know why the thread uses actual evidence of levelling to a certain point to peg the lower limit.
