Victorian-era rpg
Once upon a time I stumbled upon a RPG that was set in Victorian London. I think the PCs were all members of some adventuring society. I recall there was a table in there on how to pronounce Victorian-style surnames.
What RPG am I thinking of?
Thanks (this has been driving me nuts)!

Nope, none of those.
I remember that table of surname pronunciations. That really stood out in my mind. I wonder if it was perhaps "Spirit of the Century?"

Re: Victorian-era rpg
I don't think it's Spirit of the Century. Terra Incognita probably isn't it, but it's worth looking into.
I would really like to see a game made by Obryn, Kurald Galain, and Knaight from these forums.
I'm not joking one bit. I would buy the hell out of that. -- ChubbyRain

I think, therefore I get really, really annoyed at people who won't.

How about a Savage Worlds campaign called Rippers? All the characters are Victorian Age monster hunters belonging to a Lodge.

I don't know if it has the pronunciation table, but perhaps The Kerberos Club? It's a super-powered Victorian setting that comes in ORE, FATE and Savage Worlds editions.

Don't know about pronounciation guides or whatever, but give 7th Sea a look.

Re: Victorian-era rpg
Most people don't think of it as an RPG, but you might consider Sherlock Holmes, Consulting Detective.
