Slow loading times

Getting a lot of Timed Out errors and really long loading times for pages. In South East U.S. Am I the only one?

Things are certainly loading faster. Was only for about an hour. Just reporting in. Wasn't my internet either, everything else was loading fine.

Forum loading up slow as hell (Though somewhat inconsistently, as there are moments where it's being fast again)

Yep, just came to report the same thing. Got another error about the forum either getting high traffic and/or it being down for maintenance and general slow loading.

Can confirm this also happened for me when I first came on the site maybe 20 minutes ago, but it's cleared up at the moment and is running fine? Seems like there's an intermittent problem there.

About 3 to 4 hours ago same slow loading you've described, also "site temporarily down" messages.
And just now when I "search" I get "connection to localhost:9312 failed (errno=111, msg=Connection refused)"

I rebooted the server. The search engine just hadn't loaded yet.

The issue seems to be back: Pages of the forum are taking measurably long to connect (5-20 seconds). The comic page loads immediately and so do a random selection of other webpages, so I fear it is the forums themselves.

Have similar issues. (Germany) One thread just took nearly 4 minutes to load "fully", reply text box missing for ~50 seconds while the rest was already loaded.

This might stem from our provider since our router resetted himself last night (which he shouldn't on a saturday evening...).

I've been experiencing this for the last few days. Texas, Verizon/Frontier FIOS.

It seems to be on-and-off for me up here in northern New York, with TWC as my ISP. There are times where I can load up pages just fine, other times where it loads up unusually slow, and other times where I keep getting a 503 error and have to refresh the page a couple of times.

It doesn't even happen consistently at the same times each day. Not really sure what's up.

I'm also getting slow page loading or 503's, it was worst last night, but has happened a bit over the course of the day. Seems to come and go quite a bit.

Between 5:35pm PDT and 5:45pm PDT I had extremely slow times and repeated 503 server errors.

Reporting in case it helps to look through logs.

Ditto. Silly question, but this isn't some sort of DDOS attack, is it? If nothing else, that sort of behavior would be noticed by the techs even if they weren't looking specifically for it, right?

Throwing my voice onto the pile as well: it's been intermittent over the past few days, but usually when it's happened before it's been an isolated incident that goes away after several minutes and doesn't happen again for weeks; this has been at least a couple times a day for the past few days now.

I had the same issue a couple of hours ago; pages wouldn't load and I would get 503 errors. The site appears to be working fine for me now though, and this has happened a couple of times in the past week (pages won't load, then the problem disappears for a couple of days). I'm from Australia, if that helps at all.

ETA: the issue happened for me at 10:35 UTC +10.
