Re: Forum Wars WW
I don't want to get someone banned without being sure they're a troll, and Eggel has given some sort of explanation... so I guess I'll ask Immer(
Duck999) to provide more to this discussion than the nature of Xirhili's hinges.

I thought we already said his hinges were unhinged. I'm starting to believe that to be true.

Re: Forum Wars WW
FoS on flat_footed today. Murska suggested that I wasn't scumhunting when I voted for Elodin yesterday, but really I just wanted to do something that people would have an opinion on. I was especially interested in the two players who had posted without voting, flat_footed and Buggabelle. There are valid villagery reasons to wait to vote, but following someone onto a really weak vote doesn't seem to indicate townie status to me...
Also:
Did you vote yesterday after crossing this out? Just wondering...
But my vote has to go to Silent_Interim. His and Ramsus' votes on Eggel are super lazy and SI already has a vote.
Other than that, I'll be reading through shortly to try to compile an accurate list of who's flying under the radar right now. I'm pretty sure it's gonna be at least half the players, and when there's that little activity in a game, under the radar is pretty much an optimal wolf strategy, so this will probably be a pretty good place to start looking for wolves.

Re: Forum Wars WW
More accidental than anything. I remembered voting and did not remember crossing it out.
Had too much fun writing the article, truth be told.

I vaguely remember someone telling me once that ties are bad for town. Can't remember why.
Silent_Interim anyway.Spoiler: Check Out my Writing!

Eggel was tied with SI, not me.

Re: Forum Wars WW
Silent_Interim doesn't seem suspicious to me, and Immer has nothing else to say...so I guess I'll poke Thematthew so they don't go silent. Not much to go on right now other than gut feelings, and I don't want to get someone else banned based by relying on those.

Re: Forum Wars WW
Ties are bad for town because no one dies, leaving us a day behind the wolves and depriving us of information. That being said, silent interim.

Re: Forum Wars WW
Well, I can't dispute that. I guess it wasn't as self serving of a vote.
Plus a troll probably wouldn't come out so strongly as trollish, I suppose.
Silent_Interim hasn't tried to dispute their seemingly false Eggel claim, time's up and a vote needs to be cast from me.

Re: Forum Wars WW
Oh, that's how it is, eh? Gonna kick me, a loyal forumite here for years, to the curb, half because I was away for one of walkabouts? Fine. I hope the trolls ARE tracking people down, and kill you all.
OOC: I'm bad at early game reads, and day is almost over. I have no plausible lynch alternative, so... bye town. Good luck.

Re: Forum Wars WW
@Libro Not trying to go silent, just can't get a good feel on any of the options.
I suppose I can get behind Xihirli, but I really don't know.
Spoiler: OOCAlso, ties aren't bad in this one, they just lynch whoever got there first. It's just games where a tie results in a no or random lynch that they are (or can be) bad for town.

Re: Forum Wars WW
Day 2 Ends
The trolls struck again, attacking the internet connection, making it so that some people could not even get online over the weekend at all. In all the confusion, yet another innocent member was banned.
The admin was getting worried. That same person was following him around again! But what could he do? He had no proof. All he can do is wait.... and see what happens.
Summary: Silent_Interim was lynched. He was a User.

When the metaphorical smoke cleared, another person had fallen- this time to inactivity. Luckily, a new member happened to join. Little did they know, of the battle that GWF was embroiled on.
Summary: Elenna is replacing Elodin. Effective immediately.Last edited by Black Socks; 2016-08-18 at 05:43 PM.

Night 2 Ends
"They take their werewolf games very seriously, these guys." The troll said to himself with a grin. "But the ones with any real skills, there's only two.... A master and an apprentice. And now...."
<initiate spam program>
"There's one."
Summary: Pelican's computer was overloaded with spam. They were the WW Master or WW Apprentice.

Re: Forum Wars WW
Does anybody here have a plan? Cause I got two things; jack and squat.
I'll pokeMurskato see if they have a plan.
I guess I'm going to need to have my nephew start exporting my homebrew projects in case these rascals decide to ban me. Anybody know another good D&D forum?

Re: Forum Wars WW
This hardly seems like a good reason to vote for someone,
Duck999. I agree that Xihirli's reasoning was rather sketchy, but there's only so much you can get from a day that's mostly RNG.
What bothers me most is the "I would have trusted him more if he had RNG'd" line. IMO, giving any reasoning is better than pure RNG, since it gives town something to work with. This seems like a troll trying to get rid of discussion to me.

Re: Forum Wars WW
@Old Joe: Well I've got my own small forum a few of my friends use, but we'll have to discuss this over Skype. Wouldn't want to paint a target on the back of any forum for these trolls. So proclaims the PantsKnight.
((I agree with Elenna aboutDuck999. I mean, it's not a lot, but then again on the other side we have Xihirli acting like.... Xihirli. Sorta just came off as wolves going for an easy wagon. That they'll probably keep trying to push whenever. I'm sure he'll get scried soon if he hasn't been already so I think we can leave the matter of Xihirli to whatever network forms. I'll still place my bet on him just being a random towny though.))Last edited by Ramsus; 2016-08-03 at 11:45 PM.

Re: Forum Wars WW
((Sorry about that, I thought that I had posted reasoning. I didn't want a tie to occur, not remembering the tie-breaking rule.))
We haven't been on much because we have limited internet access, we can only use the computer when Owner is gone. We are not a big hairy creature, rather four small, furry creatures.
((Actually work is keeping me away.))

Re: Forum Wars WW
This post is very scummy, avoiding a townie bandwagon and the whole flip-flopping and justifying a poor vote.

Honestly I'm just using strategies I half-remember from older games. I think keeping the pressure up is good.Last edited by Xihirli; 2016-08-03 at 09:30 PM.
