Re: Forum Wars WW
Thematthew seems like the better choice, given that he's not usually quiet and Phantom is.

Re: Forum Wars WW
@Murska I don't think you realize how saying something is a good defense for one person means you can ignore it with another one. Seems pretty scummy to me.
@Elenna I don't know where you get the idea that I'm not usually this quiet... because I am...

Re: Forum Wars WW
I don't think thematthew or Phantom are wolves. Using the quiet excuse on people who are in general quiet doesn't seem smart. Sure, it might be a reason, but it's definitely not a good reason.
Duck999, didn't you claim seer yesterday? What did you learn from your scry?
As for my vote, Libro because his vote for thematthew seems really illogical.

Re: Forum Wars WW
I'm not convinced thematthew or the phantom are wolves. When thephantom isn't RP'ing, he's almost always silent, and I feel like every game I've seen thematthew in (including my own) he gets lynched because town doesn't like his inactivity, and he turns out to be a villager. And while I agree with Murska that the post he pointed out does seem vaguely scummy, I don't think it's enough to really lynch him over. I would also like to throw Libro some more pressure, as I feel like they've been mostly fence-sitting for a good chunk of the game, which isn't how he played in the phantom's game.

Re: Forum Wars WW
I poked Themathew to see who would be willing to hop onto a wagon for him. It's the same reason I chose to poke Lex during the last day cycle. If someone was willing to jump on with little reason, then they merit a closer look. ThePhantom's vote was in self-defense, so there may or may not be much to get from it. Murska and Elenna, however, require a closer look.
As for being on the sidelines more than in ThePhantom's game... I am unfortunately not a mason, so I have relatively little information to work with. If I had more to go on I could probably do more.

Re: Forum Wars WW
I agree Murska could use a closer look, but I'm honestly not sure how much of that is my genuine belief, or the subforum's meta that Murska is always untrustworthy and dangerous. Why Elenna, though?
- - - Updated - - -
Seems to me like you could just be picking her to continue sitting on the fence, so you won't be on a town wagon if thematthew turns up user. You didn't really offer a reason why you'd vote for her. Also, you are technically voting for both her and thematthew currently.Last edited by norman250; 2016-08-10 at 10:07 AM.

Re: Forum Wars WW
I chose Elenna since Murska had poked Thematthew the previous day.
...and now to go cross out my previous vote for Thematthew
- - - Updated - - -
Fixed.
I feel like such a putz for having made that mistake twice this game.

Re: Forum Wars WW
Murska repeating their vote likely means that they have some logic behind why they are still voting for that person.
Elenna, on the other hand, voted for Thematthew and broke the tie which was already against Thematthew due to this games rule about ties. With or without her vote, he would have been lynched had the day ended then.
It would be nice if Murska would share their reasoning as to why Thematthew seems scummy, though.

Re: Forum Wars WW
I like the
Librowagon better than the Elenna wagon, and it's true that we shouldn't murder people for being quiet often.Last edited by Xihirli; 2016-08-09 at 03:10 PM.

Re: Forum Wars WW
Thinking they aren't good wagons isn't necessarily the same thing as defending them.

Re: Forum Wars WW
Not necessarily, Eggel. If the wolves know which town are potentially networked, it may hurt the development of said network. I think it's fine that Duck keeps it secret for now, unless we're in danger of lynching them. From which I gather that neither thematthew nor thephantom have been scried as town by Duck yet.
Edited for grammar.Last edited by norman250; 2016-08-09 at 02:57 PM.

Re: Forum Wars WW
Maybe not, but they were pushed, debated and most tellingly dropped with very little fanfare in exchange for candidates that have no better or even equal-strength reasoning for them.
Duck, if you got a villager, you should reveal them so as to force the wolves to either kill a villager and not hunt for Masons or leave a confirmed villager alive. If you got something else, you should remain quiet.

Re: Forum Wars WW
Now THAT reasoning I don't understand. He got a wolf last time, mentioned so, and caught us a wolf. If he got a wolf again, why wouldn't we try lynching them?

Re: Forum Wars WW
Oh, did you mean the ROLE villager/user? I assumed we were dealing with allegiance scries.

Re: Forum Wars WW
And while you're confirming that, Black Socks, could you confirm if Seer/Fool get specific role scries or just alignment scries?

Re: Forum Wars WW
So by default, if he didn't scry troll, he got user, which doesn't clear anyone due to the existence of the alpha role.

Re: Forum Wars WW
Sorry. I've been really sick the past couple weeks and just have mostly avoided the Playground. If you peak at my activity, you'll see that until this past Saturday, I wasn't even on site for a week and a half before then.
For now, I'll go with TheMatthew over ThePhantom.
And thanks for not lynching me. Duck999, you are a great seer.

Re: Forum Wars WW
Day 4 Ends
Hysteria and suspicions are running high, resulting in the lynch of an innocent user.
.... and on a completely unrelated note, t-shirts featuring Cocky Rival, Cloudcuckoolander and Catgirl are now available in the shop!
Summary: Thematthew was lynched. He was a User.
