    Weapon and Armour Proficiency
The hornblower is proficient in all simple weapons, all martial one-handed weapons, and light armour but no type of shield.

    Hornblowing
The hornblower can use the bardic music abilities (all class features of the bard except bardic knowledge, spellcasting, and weapon and armour proficiency) but only with a horn. By wielding a one-handed weapon in one hand, and a horn in the other, the hornblower can concentrate and attack as the same standard action, or concentrate and attack at the end of a charge, or concentrate and make a full attack as the same full-round action.

    Eternal March (Su)
From second level, the hornblower can use the effects of Drums of Marching, only using his horn (and thus a different Perform subskill). The drums of marching are found in the magic item compendium, page 158.

From seventh level, the hornblower can use the effects of Pipes of Frenzied Revelry, only using his horn. Pipes of Frenzied Revelry are found in the magic item compendium, page 168

    Resilient Tone (Su)
From eighth level, the hornblower can use the effects of a Horn of Resilience, only using his horn. The Horn of Resilience is found in the magic item compendium, page 208
