[D&D 5e, Very Rare Item] Animated Chains [PEACH]
In short: Created for those who want to become Spiderman.
Very Rare, requires attunement by a creature with a STR score of 13 or higher
These magically animated chains (50 foot long) are connected to a heavy, metal wristband shaped like a handcuff. The chains are normally stored inside a pocket dimension, and can lengthen and move around according to the attuned creature’s will. They can support up to 300 pounds.
While wearing this attuned wristband, the creature can, as a Bonus Action, activate one of the following effects (you may also activate original effects at the DM's discretion):
-Wind-Up. Use the chains to grapple a tree, a rock, a Huge or larger monster, or something that can otherwise support enough weight, and then proceed to wind up the chains, flinging the attuned creature towards the grappled target up to 50 feet.
-Grapple. Target a creature within 50 feet. It must succeed on a DC 15 “Athletics” or “Acrobatics” check or be grappled by the chains. While grappled, the target cannot move away from you. If you move over 50 feet away from the creature, the creature must succeed on a DC 15 “Athletics” or “Acrobatics” check or be dragged in your direction (if it succeeds, the grapple ends). The chains can grapple up to three creatures.
-Move. Target a non-creature object, OR a creature grappled by the chains, which is within 50 feet of you and is beneath 300 pounds. Move it up to 50 feet (it cannot move into a square more than 50 feet away from you in this way).
Also, as a Reaction, you may activate one of the following effects (you may also activate original effects at the DM's discretion):
-Evade. Use the chains to grapple a tree, a rock, a Huge or larger monster, or something that can otherwise support enough weight, and attempt to steer out of range of a dangerous effect that targets a specific area. You gain advantage on the Dexterity saving throw that triggered this ability. Also, after making the saving throw, you can move up to 20 feet. There must be an object that can support this movement for you to activate this ability.
-Shield. The chains coil and twist around you in response to an attack, creating a temporal shield that protects you from harm. You dispose disadvantage on one attack that triggered this ability.
Lots of uses, both in-combat and out-of-combat.
