I am super excited to get this chronicle going! I wanted to go ahead and create a thread for our game. This first section is a test.

Comfort has never been something Frank Winter wanted. He lived to save people, and he died for it to.

Frank's mother was a police officer and his father was a woodworker who would make a living selling furniture. Frank had a younger brother who had a fell while the two were climbing trees when they younger. The fall left his brother paralyzed from the waist down. Despite his age, Frank always blamed himself for the accident and afterwards took strong steps to always ensure his brothers safety. His need to protect his brother eventually grew into a need to protect others and he built a reputation of cool headedness and reliability. When he went away to college to study to become a paramedic, another terrible accident happened and his entire family passed away in a severe car crash.

Blaming himself again for abandoning his brother, Frank dropped out of college and returned to Louisiana to become a fire fighter.

Frank worked as a fire fighter for ten years. Despite being very good at his job, he has had successes and just as many failures when it came to rescuing people, a fact that hits Frank hard every night. One fire though was particularly bad, Frank worked all night fighting against the fire and he saved just one person. After dragging the woman out he realized she wasn't breathing. He desperately tried to resuscitate her but could not get the spark of life to ignite. Just as he was giving up, she awoke and ran off.

She was a vampire from the brujah clan, and after he rescued her she began to watch him. She saw his constant struggle to save others. His failures at overcoming natures wrath and his few successes at stemming the mortals inevitable deaths. Finally she confronted him and offered him the chance to be able to save people forever. He decided that the offer was worthwhile and was embraced.

It's been three years since Frank was embraced, he had to swap to night shifts and has resorted to stealing blood packs so that he doesn't have to feed on others.

His sire stuck around and taught him some of the world he was coming into, what it meant to be a vampire, what his new powers were, the requirement to stay hidden. Just about all of it made sense to Frank. He was happy to be part of the Camarilla, and his powers helped him save others. The beast however was not something that Frank was happy with. He has clashed with his beast more times than vampires three times his age. Every time he steps into a burning building he must fight against the beast to remain standing when every single instinct says to run away as quickly has he can. He has lost that fight before, and when he did people died. And so he continues to fight the beast every chance he gets, seeing it as a creature within him and not an actual part of him.

Working as a fire fighter has kept Frank in very good shape, he is about 5'10" with his black hair cut short to stay within fire fighter codes. On the back of his left shoulder is a tattoo of his fire engine logo. His skin is just the right color as to make it difficult to tell what his actual ethnicity is.
