    Default Who wants more Greyview?

It's been two weeks and I find myself longing once again for his Chekhovian quips as he and Oona roll through life, her with joy and enthuisiasm, him with grim resignation as he confronts a bleak and hostile world.

    Nod. Get Treat.

Dangit I want more!!! When do we get to see them in-comic again? I demand another kickstarter campaign with Oona/Greyview backstory as a reward! :)

I hope we don't wait too long to see them again, but these things take time.

Greyview will be back with more of his Nietzsche-esque wisdom when he banters back and forth with O-Chul as the paladin and Oona begin their journey of rivalry, friendship, and love.

Patience, all things will happen in good time.

He was fun for the three strips he was in, but it would get old real fast.

I was hoping we'd get to see him on an item in the Shop soon. I would definitely buy it *cough cough*.

I'm always up for more Greyview. Love that warg.

I would fully support a prequel story about the adventures of Oona and Greyview.

Greyview is probably much more pessimistic than Nietsche, though. "That which does not give you treats can kill you."

    That sounds like Greyview :)

As an FYI, Nietzsche was an optimistic. One of the only (the only?) existential philosophers that can be said of.

    Corrected.

To be honest, though, Nietsche is not widely considered an optimist, as far as I know. The farthest I would go is to say that he accepted even the tragedies of life (illness, pain, death) as part of its beauty and believed that one had to experience life fully, in all its aspects, without turning away.

    That way lies madness.
Delusion and denial keeps me just the right side of sanity.

Mildly knurd is, allegedly, Sam Vimes's resting state, for what that tells you.

Actually, he is past mild - that'd be Adora Belle Dearheart. Vimes' described as "two under par" - i.e. he needs a stiff double whisky just to be sober.

And because he's a recovering alcoholic--"Not an alcoholic. Not rich enough. I was a drunk."--he doesn't drink at all, and goes through life grouchily bereft of normal illusions.
