    RexThaun wheels Roger around and charges the lightly armored swordsman fighting ZrabHas, scoring a deep blow with his lance.

    You wrote SS1, and the two soldiers it could be are SS3 and HS1. I’m assuming SS3 since it’s closer.
    Hit for 15. I put you in O35 as the shortest distance for the charge. When you specify your end point it makes things easier for me, and it probably would have removed the ambiguitiy.


    Joas re-forms an Astral Construct. It charges Tilghman, going for a low blow to unbalance him, but its ectoplasmic fist caroms off of the Goliath’s armored skin. Grassis fires another eldritch blast, but the arcanist twists and ducks, causing it to make a crater in the sturdy wooden door behind him.

    ZrabHas adopts an agile stance, ready to respond, as she centers her mind.

    You hear screams of fear and panic from the market area upslope as the flashing of spellfire and sprays of blood become apparent to everyone.

    Tilghman steps away from the Astral Construct, casting another spell while sending his Spiritual Hammer at Joas. The lawman’s skin begins to glow faintly, and his arms and legs grow even thicker as Fortubo strengthens him with what Grassis recognizes as Divine Power. The hammer swipes at Joas, but misses.

    The soldiers around ZrabHas attack again with halberds and a short sword, hoping to catch her this time since she didn’t attack them. The halberds miss, but the swordsman RexThaun had just stabbed catches her with an aggressive swing. She counters with a quick strike that burns a hole into his chest, dropping him to the ground unconscious & bleeding.

    Joas frowns some more. This is not going very well, and I am depleting my resources fast....I will need them later on as we´ll surely be chased if we make it out of here. He decides to step off his horse, being assaulted by this ghostly hammer now. Also because of the hammer, he decides to bring up some more defenses. His construct moves to the Lawman and attacks him.

    The bell continues to ring with a slow, deep BONG every few seconds.

    RexThaun turns his horse and charges back across the road, spearing the swordsman threatening Grassis. The swordsman sways, barely able to stand as blood gushes down his back.

    ZrabHas twists in place and lashes out with her kukri twice; blood sprays in a pair of arcs around her, punctuated by a blast of energy from Grassis. One of the halberdiers falls to the ground dead; the other one staggers and has to catch himself with the butt of his polearm.

    It’s a swift action to switch stances, but ZrabHas used her swift with the counter before her turn; however, no move action was taken, and using a Move action time window to take a Swift is perfectly reasonable.

    Her horse steps back from all the violence.

    Joas dismounts, manifesting some additional armor, while his Astral Construct lands a blow on Tilghman.

    Lawman Tilghman seems to realize that the construct is a real threat, and strikes at it with his hammer twice, but misses both times. His Spiritual Hammer attacks Joas twice as well; one of the hits goes through a weak spot in Joas' defenses and hits him in the head.

    Rex regards the newcomer with annoyance, but hearing Grassis, he gets shaken out of his stupor, this was quickly becoming a bad situation.

    He charged the same soldier, hoping to get in between the dwarf and Joas, and perhaps get that damnable golden hammer away from him as well.

    Grassis crosses the road, moving until he has a clear line of sight, and then launching a beam of crackling energy at the arcane caster; the bolt hits and knocks him to the ground, unconscious.

    RexThaun charges the last remaining soldier and runs him through with his lance, killing the man instantly.

    Joas moves and draws a crystalline dorje, while his Astral Construct lashes out at the lawman, missing by just a hair’s breadth. ZrabHas throws a javelin, however, and hits him.

    The lawman attempts to move away from the Astral Construct, but it catches him with a heavy blow to the thigh that knocks him to the ground. “If good men do nothing, then... Agh! Bryce, help!”

    He makes a clumsy swing from prone at the construct. His hammer continues to haunt Joas. Neither attack hits.

    The Lawman is down. But this is even better. The Cleric is running to help his friend. When he gets to rank W, hopefully W29, ZrabHas will use a Delayed Action to activate Charging Minotaur kata.
    By doing this, Zrabhas will make a charge attack, moving to the approximate location of V29-W30.

    The impact will trigger an opposed strength roll, to which ZrabHas has a +6 Advantage, as she is both charging and size Large. If the dwarf fails, he will take 2d6+2 damage, then be flung backwards, at a slope of y=3x, to a distance of 5 feet for every 1 he failed the opposed roll by.

    If the dwarf is tossed more than 5 feet backwards, ZrabHas's natural reach causes him to unwillingly provoke an attack of Opportunity, which will be delivered via headbutt. (unarmed strike does not specify punching, and this seems more appropriate to a Stone Dragon strike than the usual kicks that are inspired in my previous text by me viewing Tiger Claw discipline as a mixture of Kung Fu and Capoeira.)

    Rex sees the dwarf shrug off his attack and then move towards his downed ally, frowning in frustration, he sped roger forward, wheeling him again, and coming up next to grassis, he leaned forward and spewed forth a line of acid, covering the fallen goliath in acid.

    Grassis fires off another bolt at the lawman. He notices the lawman has not thrown down his weapon.

    Ranged touch attack : (1d20+6)[24] (normally +9 to hit, +1 to hit for point blank shot, no penalty for shooting into melee due to precise shot, -4 penalty to hit for target being prone)

    Damage: (5d6+1)[23] (+1 for point blank shot, 5/5 daily use of Mortal Bane.)


    Movement: Grassis still has 50ft per move action this round from his previously triggered Xeph burst ability. He'll swing around north of the construct in a U shape traveling through squares R27 and U27 to finally end up at V28. As part of the move action, Grassis will pull out his dagger.


    (The idea here is to position Grassis to make an AoO against the lawman if he stands up and to force the dwarf to move through V29 if he wants to cast a heal on the lawman, which could open him up to potentially 3 AoOs AND put him into a flank between Grassis and the giant Githerzai)

    The lawman is on his knees, which is what Joas was after. But now the Dwarf seems to think he needs to be a hero. In order to discourage the Dwarf as well, he sends his construct over to charge the Dwarf. Just to be sure, Joas adds a little layer of protection to himself.

    Well, I didn't manage to fling him into the magic wall. But I'll take what I can get. ZrabHas decides killing the foolish dwarf the old fashioned way is more practical at this point. She uses Mountain Hammer on the cleric with her unarmed strike. No move this turn.
