Felina's one of Michaud's, and he hasn't been in a position to make children naturally in a really long time. But you're right... she's probably not any sort of shifter. Melina, on the other hand, is half from that scary woman.... dunno

But Leah: keeping me from destroying everything in a feral rampage is pretty helpful, I'd say!

It's a hopeful sign that there haven't been any significant number of cases brought to the sanctuary so far. And the pile of scrolls is rapidly diminishing to nothing, meaning the sanctuary is about as well protected as it is at all possible to be.

Not all of the other buildings are faring so well, though: and the guest hostel is taking the worst of it.

Leah laughs along.
"I guess I can take the credit for that."

Arlem is notably disinterested in astronomical phenomena. But there was no away to avoid this one. I expect he's watching Ziselle and anything going wrong at the actual apartments, so that Felina can go help protect the Sanctuary if she thinks she ought to.

Steven finishes his scrolls and stands up.
"Should we send someone to help the other buildings?" he asks Caroline, glancing in the direction of the hostel.

Caroline nods

I think we're settled here. It's probably a bit past time we tended to the rest of the compound.

She swallows, then tugs a pair of sai from her belt: a far cry from the deadly artifacts her grandmother carries, but respectable implements nonetheless

Keep in mind these are our friends, and this isn't their fault! Try to not kill anyone!

And without further comment, she charges out to the garden!

Yumiko is looking at the door with a worried expression

It's gone really quiet out there.

Keiko was still busy grinning at Leah, but she does look up

Steven nods, flicking his head to tell Eclipse he's needed in his more solid shape. Steven runs a finger along his blade's edge, drawing a shadow over it to dull it. Silver, no, but he doubts he'll need that bonus on top of such a magical blade.

He heads to the hostel, sword in its scabbard.

Leah looks to Yumiko concerned. She was so worried, her voice changed color!

"Do you need to stay in this room to stay yourselves?"
"I can go check things out for you."

If they don't mind being stuck here yet again.

I have not been able to be as active as I had intended to be.

I do hope to be able to get back soon, and I do apologize for starting the blood-moon event and then promptly disappearing. It seems like everything converged all at once this August and had I known it would get so crazy, I would have delayed jumping in with both feet as it were.
