Horrible with naming. Please help.

For starters i've tried random name generators and a thesaurus. these aren't giving me the feel of what i'm looking for.

I would like a fantastical name for the magical force that holds my world together (e.g gravity.)

To set the stage, my world has been sundered by a catastrophic event. This magical force has not been completely destroyed therefore the world is still "complete" but shattered (shard world).

All ideas will be welcome and greatly appreciated.

The name should reflect precisely what the force does or how it does it. If it literally holds the world together, why not the Mortar?

Take one of the more promising words from the thesaurus and rearrange the letters into a gibberish but real-sounding word (and maybe add some extra vowels if you need to)

Have you defined the force as being like gravity (a force attracting matter from the center) because you could use ley lines and have it holding the shards of your world together by wrapping around it along the surface.

Otherwise, my best shot at a name would be mana, which someone already mentioned. It makes sense that mystical energies from the earth might be holding it together. Also, there is some stuff online about Earth Chakras that might be of use in your game.

On the same track, you could go The Bond or The Bind; it's descriptive, short and simple...

My fave as of yet, with the holding force name something simple like "The [insert adhesive word here]"
leaning toward "Bind" i think...
