    Here's another good dessert recipe:

    Take your favorite cookie.
    Pour a glass of milk.
Dunk cookie in glass long enough to soak up some of the milk, but not long enough to become soggy.
    Eat.

Ok, it ain't dessert, but it's sweet enough that it counts.

    Ingredients.
    Take bread.
    Peanut butter.
    Honey.
    MMmmm.
    Honey.....

    Recipe.
    Combine. Eat.

Other favorites include Selection of mangos (Ingredients: Mangoes, to taste. Other mangoes, to taste. More mangoes, maybe? Recipe: Peel/slice, eat.) and the ever popular Peaches 'n' Peaches.
I hear the sweet kisses of a loved one work too, but seriously, so short and passe.

EDIT: ^ IF by disgusting you mean not disgusting. At all.

The cream is the most frustrating part, though: a dessert without cream is a rare one indeed I think I might be building up a tolerance, though.
Tiramisú shouldn't have any fruit...At least the regular version. And I really don't see the need of making a variation.
But I'm kinda with you. A cake type dessert with the wrong choice of fruit can suffer from unwanted moisture.

I tend to like more of central european desserts, you know, drier, with lots of almonds and nuts and dried fruits.

Only if you're dunking your cookie wrong, and letting it get so soggy that it sorta breaks apart as you're pulling it out. Otherwise, yeah, you do get bits of crumbs, but those don't make that sludge you're talking about.

Yeah. There's never a bad reason to eat dulce de leche.

    And Empanadas...Mmmmmmmmmm.

The rice/milk recipe I use is a spin on the arroz con leche thing.

OMG, I can't believe me forgots! This is THE best dessert, adapted from a Lebanese dessert place called Antabli.
    Whatcha do:

Take fruit. Any fruit you want. Mango, kiwi, apple, peach, plum, papaya, anything. If it has inedible peel, peel it. Slice it into a bowl or plate.
Once that is done, arrange it so there is a good amount of surface area.
Put some Ricotta cheese on the entire thing.
Pour a little bit of honey on top of it.
Add a sprinkling of nuts, preferably of the wal- variety.

I know cheese is dairy, and the fruits are fruit, but try it, serpentine, and it is the BEST thing ever. Srsly.
That goe sfor all o yall too. Go get some ricotta and make it.

Rockphed goes upstairs and puts some bread, peanut Butter and honey in a blender and mixes until liquified. Mmmmm, good.

More seriously, my father spent two years in Brazil and all he got out of it was an inordinate fondness for rice and beans. Talk about getting cheated

My earlies memory is when I was about one and a half, I was living in Boston at the time and I remember picking up a Mrs. Butterworth bottle, now mind you this is back when they were still made of glass, and I dropped it on the floor shattering it. I remember crying for the longest time because I, "killed" her. Breakable anthropomorphic syrup bottles are not good for children.

Not really. It's just that pancakes are more of a breakfast food, and breakfast was back at 3pm. Which was what, two hours ago? Waaaay too late for pancakes.

Also, THIS is mildly amusing. Would you guys be on the cart? I sure know I would. (C'mon, join me on the cart. It's lonely here.)

Breakfast? Pffft. I made chicken and cheese crepes for dinner last year. Mmmm tasty. And then there's the Pancake Place, a restraunt I used to love, did savoury pancakes. Pancakes for dinner FTW!

There is no such thing as a Pancake-free hour in Brisbane. We have The Pancake Manor.

I've actually been to an early morning Vampire:the Masquerade game held there.

Can I offer both as an acceptable deal? I mean...We're all Australians, albeit all in different states...But at least we're all east coast!

Also, it should be 'Yiel or I' not 'me or Yiel'...Just nitpicking...
