    Spoiler: The Perfect Pear

Ponies changing their names when they get their cutie mark is canon now?! I kinda figured it made sense but.... yaaaay! Vindication! The Great Dichoro isn't quite as crazy and out there as I'd previously thought!

Well now I must hunt this episode down. I saw #12 yesterday. This would be... 13?

Work's actually not too bad at the moment, I'm just in danger of burnout. I've not been sleeping enough and I've got a couple of other interests that are competing for my time (in some cases this is connected. Steam is dangerous.)

Ah, found an interesting game, have you?

At my job we're switching to a completely different financial system and everything has to be ready to go live by the 30th. They want me to be an admin over timesheets, but training so far consisted of a 30 minute discussion which I missed half because they forgot to invite me to that and then a 10 minute crash course on entering project codes because only 150 of 400 project numbers have been entered for the new system. Whee!

I was up two hours after bedtime with Starfleet Command (1999) working on Windows 10. My new gaming laptop is more than a little overkill. I'd forgotten the technical challenges just spawn enemies at you until you die, which was a nasty surprise. Then on one attempt the game decided to throw nothing but missile boats at me and I took apart 14 of them with my photon torpedoes before getting overconfident!

Also I am this close to achieving every single and multiplayer challenge for the entire Mass Effect trilogy. Another 60-80 games ought to do it.

Also I'm just getting into model rocketry in an obsessive way.

Also I'm rewatching Next Gen and am coming up to the first Borg encounter in season 2.

Also new episodes of Orange is the New Black just dropped on Netflix.

Also we've just had the warmest five consecutive June days since 95 and UK houses generally not air conditioned. I'm getting zero sleep.

Also I've been looking after four foster kittens, which have only just gone to permanent homes.

There aren't really enough hours in the day right now!

Ouch about the new system. My work is also attempting to implement similar but at least I'm not responsible for that.

Dude, there aren't enough days in the week right now for all that.

Yeah, no wonder you're getting so little sleep. I have a few streaming shows, art & writing, and my family to take of, so time is tight on my end, but probably no where as stretched as your schedule. I dunno how you manage all that activity. I'm lucky if I can concentrate on one of those things at a time. :o

Current attention is split between Riverdale and The Last Kingdom. Also, in case my avatar isn't any indication, I'm a heavy Twin Peak's fan. Would suggest the first for a quick viewing (a dozen hour-long episodes).

    Videogames, ya silly filly.

As far as fun RPs go, this one is one of my tops. Often beats out the local D&D game I'm in, cause our GM in that campaign has a fetish for the Knowledge (Arcana) skill and turned the wizard's tiger animal companion into his DMPC. Pretty much leaves us martial classes with less options on things to do. Here, us science types can do lots of things that don't need a magic background. :3

I'd complain that Moonshadow still epically fails 10% on the time with Perception, despite having a maxed out score, but honestly that explains a lot about the show.

Yes, I read Bertly's lines in Portal 2's Wheatley voice. :3

*snerk* On the bright side, Moon's failures are a lot softer. She crit-fails a Perception check and faceplants into a cabinet. Doc misses his Perception by 1 and the hallway explodes.

    No painted-on tits. 0/10.

Stephen Merchant voiced Wheatley, in case you wanted to know. He's done some stuff that's okay.

Neat, I did not know his name before. Hmm, Steam Sales are going on now. Could get Portal 2 dirt cheap.

11/10 Art of the Year. Two things I noticed: It almost looks like a moustache, and is that Viridia's tongue at the side of her mouth...?

Heh, almost a mustache yeah. That kind of makes it funnier.

It's supposed to be Viridia smirking, but it looks like I smudged it. Something to fix in post.

I remember watching my brother play it when it first came out, and we played the 2-Player coop mode using split-screen. Cave Johnson was always fun to hear.
