Angelica grins at her, blood and adrenaline pumping through her veins. "You're doing amazing too!" she shouted back, delivering a high-five as she tears down the field past AJ.

Victoria sighs at her failed attempt at being flirty and wanders over to Lottie. "High five! You did pretty well today aswell!" and gives her a light smile.

"It's very different," says Lottie. "For starters, there aren't so many lovestruck couples. The architecture's very different - I'd say it feels more cold and oppressive than Paris. There are some great places to visit though, and our tube maps are much easier to read!"

"That's only in comparison to Paris, though, which is like the embodiment of quaint charm. The parts of London we'd be going to are still pretty nice."

AJ looks relieved. "I was goin' say! Ever since I was little, people have been telling me how great London is... you can't crush my dreams now!"

"Yeah, there are some amazing places around London; you just have to know where to look! I'm not talking just about the tourist sites either." Runs in the early hours of the morning, when the city was (relatively) quiet, had given Nikki ample time to explore. "We should all probably get changed first though. Do we want to just head out now, or meet somewhere later? I didn't bring anything fancy to change into, but I could get dressed up if I go home first."

Those of you who arrive before the agreed time (looking at you, Nikki) end up loitering around outside the station. A passing police officer gives you a stern look, but doesn't actually say anything. Lottie is the first of your friends to show up, accompanied by Megan, whom she had also invited (having another local in tow can't hurt, after all). AJ is only a few minutes late, though she clearly didn't spend the extra time picking out clothes.

"Really, Jones? Jeans and a t-shirt? We're going out on the town, for goodness sake!" Sniffs Megan.

Well, at least the weather is holding. There's a golden glow to the air on this warm, autumn evening, and you are far from the only people heading south. There aren't enough seats on the train for everyone, so you all stand in a group. It's easier to talk that way anyhow.

"So, which of us have never been to London before?" Lottie asks.
