Re: Phantom of the Opera X: A Twisted Night
I was going to make an IC post, but I don't have enough time and inspiration.
That's because I've been town in every game I can remember since Black Sock's first Forum Wars game.
I will vote for Silent_Interim for the sake of self-preservation, as I am certain I am town.

Re: Phantom of the Opera X: A Twisted Night
"RNGesus has never caused you to get hit by a bus. That's good for you, right? And... I don't know why the phantom would be a period of silence. That. Doesn't make sense."
My only response is-
Er. That.
I'm switching toLibroin the hopes that I might live that way. Query- what tie rules are we using?
EDIT: Pelicans are basically albatrosses. Bad luck, those, which we could do without.

Re: Phantom of the Opera X: A Twisted Night
End of Day 1
The cast of the opera, for the most part think that this is just a wide spread case of deja vu. But one, a wander of the opera house, a man that only one other knows his name, knows otherwise. He heads back to his apartment, while he stays attempting rites to end the curse. But all his attempts seem destined to fail.
Summary: Silent-Intern was lynched, he was the Persian.

Re: Phantom of the Opera X: A Twisted Night
...welp.
...Dammit. A claim would have been nice? Oh well.
EDIT: Wait, was SI definitely the Persian or could they have been Carlotta? 50-50 chance of having killed the Seer would still be bad, but not as bad.Last edited by Elenna; 2017-01-09 at 08:24 PM.

Wait.
If I decided to haunt you all for killing the Seer (not the Fool, the Seer)... would I become the Phantom of the Opera?
Best of luck, all of you.

Re: Phantom of the Opera X: A Twisted Night
End of Night 1
The managers of the Opera House, Andre and Firmin stay late in the night counting out the money.
"This can't be right. There's twenty thousand francs missing."
"Odd, that's the amount that the ghost claimed as his wages. You don't think that someone is having a go at us?"
"Not a go, gentlemen. This is just the start of your punishment for not heeding my warnings."
"AAAH!""NOO!"
The dark figures closes on the pair, sword in hard. The struggle was short.
A few moments later the day dawns, the managers flinging themselves back in their beds. Confused at how they could be alive.
Summary: Xihirli was killed, he was Andre. Generic-Guy was taken with him, as Firmin.

Re: Phantom of the Opera X: A Twisted Night
AvatarVecna seems the most suspicious to me, with how quickly they were willing to vote for Lex-kat.
I find Lex-kat far less suspicious at the moment because I don't think they would vote to protect Xirhili Day 1 then kill them Night 1. It's not impossible Lex/the wolves would do just that, but I find it improbable.

Librofor being third on the Silent Interim wagon since that was probably the vote that got him lynched.Last edited by Ramsus; 2017-01-13 at 11:38 PM.

Re: Phantom of the Opera X: A Twisted Night
It probably was my vote that did it, and I'm rather angry with myself that appears to be the case. I had made an agreement with SI that if he moved his vote to a third party (Not him or me) I would follow. I got caught up in packing for college and missed his vote change. By the time I could check the game, day was over.
That said, I'd prefer if you don't lynch me. I'd like to make up for my blunder.

Re: Phantom of the Opera X: A Twisted Night
This AvatarVecna wagon has picked up awfully fast.
Lex, was there any particular reason for your initial Libro vote?
I also don't find Duneyrr very suspicious. No, their reason wasn't a good one, but it's not like there were really any good reasons after an entirely RNG-based D1. I'm actually giving them town points for finding a semi-decent wagon. Which seems like a better wagon now, since I'm findingLex-Kat's choices in targets rather strange.Last edited by Elenna; 2017-01-14 at 09:29 PM.

Re: Phantom of the Opera X: A Twisted Night
Well, I'm glad you asked... me questions in two different games.
Libro was my initial vote because until then, no one else was voting... at all. I needed to pick someone who might bear some suspicion in the murder of our dear Seer/Persian. And guess who placed the third vote on Silent_Interim? Flatfooted mentioned his suspicion, but did nothing about it. With two votes, my wagon was beginning to pick up speed. I was hoping that Libro's would at least put up a fight.
Buuuuuut... Libro's explanation tugged at my heart-strings. So I have changed direction. Is that a bad thing?

Re: Phantom of the Opera X: A Twisted Night
Ok Libro, that' a good response. But... hmmm.... I kind of don't like any of these wagons? None of them seem to have really strong reasoning to me.
