Halt sighs. "Well thanks anyway, by the way I'm Halt and this is Dawn." He says holding out a hand to shake.
Dawn gives a more pleasant smile.
"Yeah pleasure to meet you."

[Near the Entrance]

Reelshka shakes Halt's hand.

"Nice to meet you all. You're all welcome to stay here. Why don't we go into the camp, instead of talking here?"

[Ashen Lilies]

[Near the Entrance]

"Likewise." Says Geneviève. She (and Cassandra) will shake hands if offered, but doesn't offer herself. "Could we stop by the infirmary?" She raises her left hand, revealing her bandaged hand. The bandage is stained silver with her blood.

Halt shrugs. "Why not, I guess we should introduce ourselves." Dawn nods in agreement and they both begin to follow.

[Infirmary]

Cerridwen, a blue furred nekomimi, is here filing some paperwork. Even infirmaries have far too much paperwork as Quinn frequently told her. She always dismissed it as Quinn being silly until recently when she gained paperwork of her own. Now it's like some sort of kudzu monster, growing at an exponential rate of doom.

[Morty]

[Near the Entrance ==> Infirmary]

Reelshka nods.

"Of course. It's on the way."

She leads the group into the campsite, and stops by the infirmary building.

"Here we are. Do you want to come in too?" she asks, turning to Halt and Dawn.

Geneviève goes to enter the infirmary, leaving Cassandra behind for the moment.

Halt shrugs.
"Sure why not?" However Dawn sticks her tongue out in disgust.
"I hate the smell of sick people so I'll wait out here." She says and finds a nice place to lay down in front of the entrance.

[Morty]

[Infirmary]

"Feel free to look around," Reelshka tells Halt. "I'll wait here too. No use crowding it up in there." She glances at Dawn. "You know, if you don't mind little children, I think my son would be very interested in meeting you."

"If I'm to help Halt with his sword, are there any tools here I can use?" Says Cassandra.

[Infirmary - Inside]

Geneviève notices Cerridwen doing paperwork, and tries to get her attention.
"Hello, are you in charge here?"

[outside infirmary.]

Dawn looks up at Reelshka. "I can handle children, just so long as he doesn't pull my fur he can keep me company."

[Inside infirmary]

Halt see's Cerridwen and looks rather surprised at how much paper work there was.
"Damn..."

(Were you talking to Halt Ashen?)

[Infirmary - Waiting Outside]

"He knows not to pull fur. His father's a wolfen, you see. That means a wolf-like humanoid," Reelshka says, before looking back to Cassandra. "There's a workshop here that doesn't see much use. We've got a lot of tools there."

((Cassandra was asking Reelshka))

"Alright." She stands around awkwardly, out of place in the conversation about children and dads and wolves.

Dawn smiles. "He sounds adorable. You know it's been a while since I have met some nice goblins...The last ones that owned me were a bunch of bloody cultists." She sighs.
"No offense to you of course."

[Morty]

[Infirmary - Waiting Outside]

Reelshka's ears twitch.

"I'm aware goblins have a bad reputation in many worlds the Nexus connects to. It usually doesn't last long, thankfully. My son is, well... like I said, he's only half goblin. The other half is wolfen. He's one of a kind."

[Infirmary - Waiting Outside]

Cassandra leans back against the wall, listening to the conversation. She doesn't have terribly much to add to a conversation about children, goblin or otherwise. :V

[Infirmary Inside]

Cerridwen turns her attention to Halt and Geneviève as they enter, putting the papers away. "Uh, not especially. But I have some field training. What's the issue?". She glanced between the two.

"I see. But you'll have fresh dressings here, I presume?"
Geneviève raises her bandaged hand, showing the silver bloodstain.
"I have an acquaintance who needs a full physical examination, as well."

Halt sighs. "I'm guessing you mean me when you say "acquaintance"." Halt did not like getting checked for multiple reasons, one being shear number of battle scars that he kept hidden under his clothes.

[Outside]
"Well your a lucky women." Dawn says to Reelshka.
Dawn looks to Cassandra.
"By the way if you're planning on fixing Halt's blade, you should know that it's a pretty powerful artifact. In fact it's one of a kind."

"What? No, I meant my companion outside." The blonde elf lady takes a second glance at Halt. "I'm sure you're in... excellent physical condition."

[Reinholdt]

[Inside Infirmary]

Cerridwen scratches her head a little. "Yeah, dressing is right here. I'm super good at stitches if you need them too." Stitches and splints and preventing infections, those are the things she really understands, despite supposedly being a therapist. She pulls out some fresh dressing and anti-septic from the supply.

"I can't offer a full physical. I can get most if it done though." Blood pressure, respiratory, body temperature and the eye light thing she can handle. But she has no idea why doctors feel around the neck or why they'd want to stare in your ears. She supposes she needs to get some lessons from Quinn if she's going to be in and out of here. Maybe become a full medical doctor instead of just winging it off of way too much personal experience.

The catgirl is admittedly a tiny bit confused though as eyes Halt over, nibbling her lip a little. "So... you need a physical too? Just step behind that curtain over there and take your shirt off, I'll be right with you."

Iknika's ears twitch. She sounds concerned when she speaks.

"How personal are we talking about here?"

"Were your father a warrior, I would fight him for it," Eschelle tells her, as plainly as commenting on the weather. "But he is not, so I shan't."

[Morty]

[Outside the Infirmary]

Reelshka beams with motherly pride, but then her ears twitch again.

"I'm not sure if our workshop is equipped for artifact repair."

Iknika's eyes go wide. She'd almost like to see it.

"He's as far from being a warrior as you can get," she says.

[Outside the Infirmary]

Cassandra nods, licking her lips as she thinks. The prospect of being able to study a one-of-a-kind artifact is certainly tempting.
"I've encountered a decent number of powerful artifacts before. If it comes down to preserving the enchantments, I can certainly help with that. But if the blade needs to be recast, you'll probably want to find a real master swordmaker. Which I'm not one of, but there are many enough of those in the Nexus. I can help you find one, if you want."
Ignoring the possibility that it's one of those artifacts that requires some kind of random quest to gain the favor of some powerful being with arbitrary demands in order to fix the sword. Or needs to be reforged inside the bodily fluids of some rare being or the enchanted waters of some spring in some random isolated part of the world using the fires of a volcano inside a magical realm. But if that turns out to be the case, and Halt wants an adventuring buddy, Cass would probably help with that too. Artifact swords are some pretty spicy stuff. Any self-respecting sorceress would do the same.
"How did Halt acquire the blade? Knowing where it comes from would help determine if it can be fixed or not." If it's a divine artifact of some sort, gods tend to be pretty possessive sorts who frown on puny mortals messing with their stuff without permission.

"I could tell," Eschelle snorts, though in humor and only mild derision. "He ought to take more care what he says. Most soldiers who are drunk and brutish have a very good reason for it."

[Morty]

"Soldiers aren't a respected profession among us," Iknika admits. "It's kind of... hard to explain. Maybe it's because we're so small and prefer to deal with danger the sneaky way?"

[Outside]
Dawm sighs as Cassandra asks this.
"It was a gift from his deity when Halt and several other heroes challenge the demon lord Orcas, who at the time was sort of trying really hard to get into the material plane. Halt worships the god Tempus and the sword Tempus bestowed upon Halt gives it's bearer immense strength and endurance at the price of making every wound he takes hurting ten times worse then normal." Dawm looks over her shoulder to the door.
"Most normal men would be killed using such a blade if they even just got scratched, but Halt takes it all in like it's almost nothing. He's not invisible though..." Dawn whimpers as she remembers all the punishing blows that have almost or even throughly killed Halt.

[Inside]
"I could be in worse shape." Halt says rather casually.Halt just sits in a chair and looks around from there, as if he was very familiar with this setting.

Cassandra's lip quirks as Dawn tells the tale of the sword.

"Are you sure the sword can be fixed, then?" She asks. "I'll still take a look, and try if I can, but gods tend to be pretty particular about the gifts they hand out, at least as far as I've heard."

Cass is pretty indifferent to the concept of godhood. Powerful beings are powerful beings, sure. Fear, cower, worship; all reasonable responses when confronted with some cosmic entity.

"I don't know anything about this god Tempus, but earning the ire of unfamiliar gods is something I try to avoid, when I can help it. But it sounds as if Halt broke the sword somehow, he might have to do something to earn it back. Slay another demon or something, though I wouldn't know. I'm a mage, not a cleric." Halt should try consulting with one of those. "Do you know of any around here ... uh ... Reelshka?"

Surely a Good League of Good would have one of those floating around.

[Inside]

Geneviève smirks at Cerridwen's comment, a smirk which widens ever so slightly at Halt's seeming lack of response.

"I didn't cut myself deeply enough to require stitches, I think. But even a cursory examination for my friend outside would be good."

Data is data.

"I'm afraid not," Reelshka says. "We've got a shaman, but that's not really the same thing."
