Hi guys.

If loot lists are to be a thing, I got two new expansions for Smash-Up and blu-ray of the first season of the (short-lived) TV show Human Target, along with some other bobs and bits. And some spicy mustard.

But really, the best Christmas present I got - or could have gotten - was being the assistant stage manager in a community theatre production of A Christmas Carol. Not normally that stimulating of a job, but my father was playing Scrooge in his return to acting after a 20-year hiatus, and I'm about as excited about that as I've ever been about anything.

(Also, wasn't MutantSheep like 15 or something? People need to stop aging when I'm not looking. It's very rude )

And I scared the dog into it by... Uhh. Well, 20 seconds beforehand he was licking my nose, then he suddenly decided I was so tasty he needed a bite.

Doesn't sound as much as a scared dog as a rude dog to me. Was it a puppy?

Hehe. Zodi has a sane reaction, being bitten isn't much fun. There was some noseskin on my hands when we were cleaning my snout up.

I'm more thinking that if someone acquired a broken leg or smashed joint or the like, Zodi's bones would self-shatter out of sheer sympathy if she caught air of it.

Oh it's awful. In ALL the best ways. It actually tried really hard to be as accurate as possible, while also being a vaguely gritty, realistic version of it. It's ridiculous and watchable 100% because of the riffing value.

To be fair, I believe that particular bit of weirdness predated the film at least as far as I can recall.

I got given an e-reader for Christmas (I've resisted getting one so far, because I just really like the feel of paper books) and, already, I've gotten irritated with it. I now remember why I made sure to get a notebook with a real keyboard instead of relying on a tiny touch keyboard.

I just want to be able to plug a keyboard in, rather than having to spend a half hour creating an account because I kept hitting keys next to the one I meant to.

I do deserve not moving an inch today.
