I hate to say this, but the only familiarity I have with Lost in Space is the terrible film adaptation from the 90's.

Given that I am a completionist, I doubt I will ever actually beat that damn game.

Then again, Undertale may have cured me of completionism pretty thoroughly in its own right, so...

ION: Cabaret. Cabaret is also a good musical from the last century. And now Hedwig and the Angry Inch vids are spilling into my YouTube tab collection. Also, I got tickets to see that one-time screening of Allegiance that's happenng across the country on Tuesday!!

IOON: I have two finals tomorrow (which is technically today), one in Drama, and one in Greek. I am not looking forward to sight-translating Xenophon, so I would take any good vibes that are on offer.

When it came to Undertale i accidentally did the neutral ending in a passive run because i missed a scene that you have to backtrack for. Apparently thats the best way of doing it if you are hunting for the different endings to get 2 in 1 without having to reset a 3rd time.

I didnt have the heart to do a genocide run though, pluss i was already bad enough at the games combat mechanic that it would cause more fustration than it was worth.

The thing you have to backtrack for doesn't actually show up until you get the neutral ending at least once.

Welp, had I read the 50 page material that was part of our exam preparation, I would've probably passed this exam. Completely froze due to one word... thankfully checking the meaning back home gave me no revelation, so no regret in the whole "I KNEW THIS TERM BUT AH I FORGOT IT". Because I had no clue what it meant, for real! Ahahahah!

Couldn't participate in Swedish due to migraine. Not cool.

Yup, it does. And thanks for the good words, I'm feeling better now. The migraine had already passed when I got to the other exam which started at 17:00.

Na, I failed the test. There were three questions (define 4 words, a half page essay and 1-2 page essay) and you had to answer to three, and I just couldn't get myself to write anything on the last one - majorly because I did not know what a key word in that assignment ment. It was a word that was one of the four we had to define... Welp. Can't wait for new years.

... on top of all this I'm starting to have some rather crappy times with my internship. The place I was supposed to go to suddenly said that they can take me in September, but I'm starting my specialisation courses then so bleh and meh (and I'm supposed to start my last internship in December). So now I gotta contact another couple of places that were offered to me and if all of that fails I'll just... I dunno. Beg myself into the Finnish Scouts and Guides office.

If you want to greet someone named Jack, and you're at the airport or on a plane, the correct thing to say is "Hello."

    Or "salutations!"

    Or "'sup?"

    Or something in another language.

    Never "Hi"

Would anybody here who happens to be fluent in Danish be open to chatting with me from time to time (via text) to help me develop fluency in the language? I have reading materiels and things like that but being able to actually talk to somebody else in the language (outside of my weekly lessons, that is) would be very helpful. (Wasn´t sure if I should post this here or as its own thread, figured I´d play it safe and just put it here.)

I have survived my finals on Drama, Greek, and Volcanoes!
Of note, if I can go through the rest of life without hearing a professor say 'don't worry, it's not communicable' during an exam, I will be a happy dude.
Also, Greek is an evil, evil language and sight translating Xenophon is haaaaaard.

I'm going to see Allegiance this evening, and then I have a day's grace from finals before one, last, hellishly early exam on Classical Mythology.

As someone who has read both series (they weren't terrible, but weren't particularly memorable either), I can attest that it is indeed the former. That is, unless something happened in the later Maze Runner books - I never got past the second.

That's what the class was about.

Drama grad student professor, who is basically incapable of acting professional while still being horrifically pretentious and demanding we treat him like he's smart, has been sick for more than a week. During the final he stopped us in the middle to say that if he has to leave he asked someone down the hall to come in -which was a stupid way to let us know, because then if he isn't sick enough to leave, he's stopped us in the middle of a final for no reason, whereas if he would've had to have left, he could've told the person he arranged it with to take over to tell us that. Part of that was him complaining about how sick he felt, including that memorable phrase.

This is the theatrical piece about Japanese internment camps.

Well, the official title is "Living with Volcanoes,' I suppose that's vaguer?

I am so happy this quarter is one final away from being done. Too many credits, too much to do, and this one professor.

Eh, not everyone can be obsessed with musicals.

Remember that Les Miserables craze we went through like, three years ago? She played Eponine in the 10th Anniversary Dream Cast Concert.

I am so happy this quarter is one final away from being done. Too many credits, too much to do, and this one professor.

Eh, not everyone can be obsessed with musicals.

Remember that Les Miserables craze we went through like, three years ago? She played Cosette in the 10th Anniversary Dream Cast Concert.

Let's see if you can get Sheep to give you a tour of my house behind my back.
Something tells me that it has a companion course called "Dying with Volcanoes".

One day you'll be able to stop overworking yourself. Then you can just do whatever.

I...only ever so slightly remember that.

That'd be fun! If creepy, potentially? I don't know. Point is, hanging out is a fun thing to do.

Fell on cold, icy tarmac with my bike today. The left side of my body is reeeally starting to feel things, I have huge bruises forming on both my thigh and elbow (which also has a large bump). Gladly I had my helmet on, hitting my head on the road was really close and had I hit my head I'd probably not be here writing this stuff right now...

All of you people and you actually knowing others. Bah. That's what I get for living on an island at the edge of the world continent.

In other news: Exams all done... and hopefully I passed. I think I did, at least. Now to decompress, and catch up on all the stuff I've missed over the past few days. I know at least there are some numbers I need to track...

    Edit:

The stars predict tomorrow you'll wake up, do a bunch of stuff, and then go back to sleep.~ That's your horoscope for today.

Oh jeez! Hope you recover soon, that sounds awful. I'm glad you're okay though. Thank goodness for safety.
