    Winter stuff, and trade goods. We don't necessarily need it, but we could skirt the forrest to the north east. No need to go through more dangerous lands, and its still in our general direction

    A good portion of the practical stuff we could just take with us on the rhino. The bulky stuff can easily be left behind.

    Probably depends on whether the "starting horses" came with some?

    I know I have an empty spare backpack and possibly also some sacks. Maybe we could fashion something from that. Especially if we bind it to the undead mount, there should be no matter of making it comfortable or overly efficient for the mount. Especially if it does not carry a rider at the same time, because we then can start binding stuff to the normal saddle.

    We're really close to the city, if we want to get more mundane stuff there, cool, but it's not needed for the mission, most everything else is in our extra dimensional space,

    Let's ditch the wagon, walk the rest of the way.

    Or, skirt the woods to NE on mounts.

    The psychoportive shelter holds 7 creatures of Large or smaller size. There are 5 party members (medium) and 3 mounts (large). The wagon counts as another 4 large creatures by space. Are you expanding the shelter to include the wagon, or is it staying parked outside?

    maybe we should start using it a little better, we never specify how we are using, allowing J-H to manipulate it/us as he please

    We could, for example, face the opening against a tree, or a bush, or something, leaving only just enough room to get in, and have Joas dismiss it when we are done, once grassis has scouted the area around us after we rest.

    He's doing what any good DM should, punishing us because we haven't used it intelligently, and are relying on it every single night to avoid random encounters. But there are a dozen ways we could use it.

    I mean, he could point the entrance up, or down, or something similarly vague, to avoid los to creatures/monsters....we need to start getting creative and stop assuming we're good.

    One big weakness is that it limits your field of vision substantially.

    You could set up wards, or traps, or alarms.
    Or you could try to be a bit less obvious about the entry point, instead of standing around for a 10-minute casting time and then having a bunch of tracks (in a spongy forest floor in this case) all disappearing into one point in space.

    The entrance is merely invisible, and allows air in and out (although not sound due to MAGIC). There's a good argument that as a result, it may allow smells in and out as well.

    Invisible creatures are usually immune to causing AOOs, unless they're fighting something with see invisibility, blindsense, etc.

    I'm so paranoid about AoO that I forget that concealment prevents an AoO.

    So does a DC15 Tumble check. At high levels, AOOs for movement simply vanish for everyone, as long as you have the speed to still get where you're going (Tumbling is at half speed).

    Yep, in my tob game, my guy has max tumble, and he never gets aoo'ed, and always gets where he is going.

    Feathersnow, are you going to saddle up or move, or just stay in the shelter and cast Haste while taking no other action? Spellcasting is only a standard action (aside from full-round spells, which I don't think you have any of).
