    Hey there, Bel and Auto! I'm here to lend a helping hand!

    I started put together a melee / scout / UMD character to help out, but I'm looking for some input on what it is you need.

    So, it seems I need at least another race, because the Fey may not even exist in this setting, but that's where I got so far. Still need to spend a few skills on something else, probably Disable Device or what-have-you.

    Alternatively, I can try and make an Archer-focused char for range, or try and build a Warlock (though that would be entirely new for me!)

    What do we think we think/need/want?

    Heya Ripptor. What do we neeed, hmm, well, maybe it is easier to describe what we have: We could use all that we´re currently not .

    Rex (Dragon shaman) functions mostly as a Melee brute and party face (Bel can add more if he feels like it), while Joas (Metacreativity psion) functions as a Melee brute (well, his constructs do), knowledge bank, crafter (as if that ever comes up, but still ) and magic hat we sometimes pull funny stuff out of (some damage, some zipping and zapping through time and space). Anything that complements that will do fine. We work with max hp, which means that many monsters take a fairly long time to beat down and as a result they have relatively large chances to dish out damage. This system favours high HD-dice characters (like barbarians) over characters that depend to a much larger degree on Constitution (like d4-casters) and makes magic to damage and heal much less efficient. I would advice against a too fragile character (low base dice and low-moderate con: Joas uses temporary hit points a lot, so with a similarly fragile character you´d have to come up with something to offset it), and also against one that relies on limited resources to do damage (for example, a sorcerer might run out of spells every now and then....Joas makes the PP pool work by relying on summoning a lot, but he is low on PP regularly).

    Hey and welcome!

    I think auto put it pretty well, we definitely need umd, healing is something we do not have in droves, and umd has other benefits.

    I think a ranged scout would be great idea, in regards to ac and HP's, you either need a lot of hit points, or some way to avoid being hit altogether (like at will insvibility).

    I'll be honest, we had a secondary melee, and it didn't work out very well, we have so much room for a umd, skill monkey.

    I'm fine with 3 or 4 players, 4 would obviously be easier for encounters, but harder on you.

    Hi guys. I was thinking of bringing in a Scout/Sorcerer/Unseen seer for some switch hitting damage, UMD, stealth, scouting, and trapfinding.

    I'm in a bit of a rush, but the dm wanted a pod, so more accurately:

    Silver brow Human Scout3/Sorc2/UnseenSeer3

    Feats of note: Draconic heritage, dragonfire strike, and improved skirmish.

    Not quite yet, please. I need to work in the new characters while you're in the city, and despite the best efforts of the city guard, it might not be peaceful. I can't start that until I know who and what is being introduced.

    Hrrm, good point, I still have the Everlasting feedbag, (which was my intent), but that only specifies equine animals, would it work for a wyvern?

    I don't think the wyvern will be happy with magically-conjured grass and grains.

    Survival usually requires slowing down unless you make a pretty high check, and a wyvern eats about quadruple what a human does. These are domesticated animals (mostly), so they may not be as effective at hunting as a wild wyvern.

    Would a ring of sustenance be able to be modified and placed on collar or something?

    -Unseen Seer requires at least two divination spells. Right now you have none.
    -Some kind of background (paragraph length) would be good.
    -You have an eternal wand of Black. "Black" isn't in the SpC as a spell, and is a generic enough term that I can't find it using Google. What is it?
    -What is a bedget?
    -You have a "misc mod" of +2 on all of your saves. I don't see a Cloak of Resistance +2 on your inventory anywhere. Where's the +2 coming from?
    -Should I just assume you'll use Wings of Cover every round against the first thing targeted against you, unless otherwise specified?
    -Elvencraft bow should go up in the weapons section so its stats are easy to see.
    -Size is still listed as Small, and is being factored into your AB calculations by the sheet.
    -Alignment is just N...TN?
    -HP is maxed. 3d8+5d4 =44 + 16 from CON = 60hp, you have 48hp.
    -Silverbrow humans get a bonus feat at 1st level (like regular humans), which you don't have listed.

    4) Blockade. Makes a cube. Typo Fixed.
    5) Budget. Should I use the WBL describe in the old 16, for for level 8?

    7) Uh... no, probably not. The problem is that I need my swift action to move. If I am targeted by certain spells (I will have spellcraft), or attacked by a large creature, I will use it.
    8) Adding. It functions as a quarterstaff and longbow.

    12) Hm... forgot I had another feat. Maybe I'll pick up a familiar.

    Fair point, but flaws were not mentioned under the OP. However, that would save me the trouble of figuring out a familiar and a flaw.
