Hmmm... I may have one:

A man loses his wife to a disease and sinks into a depression-like outlook which causes him to lash out at the establishment. He meets a woman whose views are the opposite of his, but after she saves him from a tough spot they become closer and closer despite the meddling of another couple out for revenge.

I can't believe nobody even tried to guess this one...

Funnily enough, the effort the series goes to to justify it's video-gameisms means it would work well as one of those self-aware no-fourth-wall rpg games with only a few changes.

Funnily enough, the effort the series goes to to justify it's video-gameisms means it would work well as one of those self-aware no-fourth-wall rpg games with only a few changes.

Yep you got it, I knew adding that last bit made it too obvious. And yeah that was kind of what the original description was playing on. The game embraces its mechanics and comes up with lore reasons so well that it's surprising it can be taken seriously instead of playing them up for humor.

Sounds a lot like Neon Genesis Evangelion.

To be honest, the second one was a bit tricky.
Calling that treatment pedicure is a slight understatement.
Not to mention „unfortunate dietary requirements”
But euphemisms aside it was a pretty staightforward summary of the plot.

The first one... Well, that's basically the blurb on the backcover.

I guess that's the problem with those, either you say so little it could be anything or you say something that gives it away.
