"Eleanor, get out of there! Are you able to continue? I could use your support, but don't go near the wraiths again." Scarecrow runs northwards and in front of the ruined window. He plans on performing an Eleanor so that the wraiths come to him, except that it would be intentional on his side.

She's kicking herself internally - she knew what the wraiths did to Namia, and yet she waltzed in all overconfident anyway just because an evil-ish cleric gave her weapon a magic aura. Scowls. Scarecrow

Deciding between the spreading fire and waiting for Eleanor, Scarecrow decides to step in now. He moves into the house and readies to breathe on the wraiths once all of them are within range, or at least all of them acted.

Scarecrow will go inside, but not so deep as so Eleanor can reach him with WRT without being a wraith target herself. Though with the difficult terrain and 20ft move speed, that's not much of a worry regardless.

Doldor chucks fire at wraith #2! It passes directly through where the creature's heart would be if it had one! But it does not set the building alight, it hits a less-flammable spot and doesn't add more fire to the inferno.


Scarecrow climbs into the building through the window and readies a breath attack!


Wraith #1 peers around the doorway at Scarecrow, yells out an invitation in Infernal to its brethren, and moves up to touch at Scarecrow! It touches Scarecrow for 4 damage, but he resists the Constitution drain!

Wraith #4 joins in the fun, floating up to Scarecrow and touching him for 1 damage, but he resist the drain!

Wraith #5 sinks into the ground, travels beneath the fire, and emerges next to Scarecrow! But it doesn't have the movement to also attack.

Wraiths #3 and #2 do the same as #5!


The wraiths all having moved, Scarecrow's readied breath attack goes off! By my analysis, he can get at most 2 of them at once, so he does that. Wraiths #1 and #2 are breathed upon! #1 phases through the attack, but #2 takes full damage! Wraith #2 evaporates into a puff of ectoplasm!

Scarecrow

Knowing that the building won't last long, Scarecrow doesn't really help the case either. He moves 5 feet back, probably opening himself to attacks, and then breathes acid and fire in quick succession.

Doldor runs north and then west alongside the outside of the building in an effort to get line of sight on the wraiths again, moving a full 120 feet, putting his magically-enhanced raptor-legs to work.

Eleanor... well, Scarecrow's going pretty much last (after everybody but the fire) anyway, so delaying until after Scarecrow to WRT him is very the same as delaying until the top of next round and WRTing him then, so she delays to the top of the next round.


Shian flits around the building! His psicrystal takes a potshot at... #1! But the acid passes straight through the wraith!


Doldor hustles around the building!


The four wraiths reach out to touch Scarecrow! One completely misses, but the other three touch him! (It just occurred to me that Scarecrow has DR. It doesn't say what kind of damage these wraiths are doing with their incorporeal touch attacks, so probably it should be regular physical damage -- but I'mm'a say they're doing negative energy damage, which bypasses DR, because that makes more sense to me. d4s aren't going to make much difference to Scarecrow's metric boatload of HP anyway, even without subtracting 2 from each. You got this.) Scarecrow takes 4, 4, and 3 damage! But he resists the drain!


Scarecrow moves back into the window (he can get three four (with lax rules about where he can originate it) if he moves west or three four if he moves northeast, so he moves west), provoking from all four of them! They all reach out to touch as he moves past, and again three of them touch him and one of them misses! Scarecrow takes 4, 2, and 2 damage! Then Scarecrow breathes a cone of acid and a cone of fire (which pretty much sets the whole building alight)! Wraith #1 incorporeals the acid but eats the fire, #4 eats the acid but incorporeals the fire, #3 eats both, #5 eats both! #1 fails its reflex save against acid, and is looking raggedy but still up! #4 makes its reflex save against fire, and is looking okay! #3 fails its save against acid and makes its save against fire, and is looking extremely ragged but still up! (If that seems wrong, recall that these wraiths feasted upon both the chain devil and Eleanor, gaining temporary HP from both.) #5 succeeds on its save against acid but fails against fire, is reduced to precisely 0hp, and evaporates!


The fire spreads! The northeast section of the northeast building collapses amidst a huge cloud of dust and rubble and wood shards! Scarecrow, caught within the fire, takes 5 points of fire damage! (The wraiths are all within fire now, too, but it's not magical fire and therefore they are unharmed. They are, however, irritated, and are likely to move out of convenient breathing-upon formation before Scarecrow's next natural turn -- but after Eleanor's next turn.)

Scarecrow uses his translocation anklets to move 5' west, then breathes on the three wraiths! #1 incorporeals, #3 eats fire, #4 incorporeals. #3 fails its reflex save, and evaporates in a cloud of smoke!


Shian and his psicrystal fly north, and attack! Shian's gobbet of acid passes right through wraith #1, but his psicrystal's gobbet hits, and the wraith evaporates!


Doldor moves to the window, then chucks fire into the fire! But he completely misses the wraith, and the fire hits only fire.


The one remaining wraith sinks into the ground and flees! Amidst the roaring inferno and the fact that it's flying underground, nobody happens to spot where it fled to, or even which direction it fled.


...Although Brutus elects to take this moment to reënter the initiative and canter nervously towards the party.


The fire roars! Most of the northeast building collapses in on itself into the fire!
