Pathfinder: Selective Channeling and Blindness?

I am running a module and it has a lot of necromancers as levels get up there. I have a Spirit of Life Wizard in the party. An upcoming battle has lots of Blindness/Deafness (Lvl 2 Necromancy Arcane Spell). It has made me ponder the thought question of can a character exclude entities from his Channeled Energy Burst that he is unaware of? The obvious implication that came to my mind was a Blinded Oracle, but invisible enemies and such also beg the question. Thoughts?

Short answer yes, you do have to see them to use selective channeling to spare them
