Public Domain Comic Book Network (YouTube Channel)
Seems like this is a place to shamelessly self-promote, so I'm shamelessly self-promoting.
The Public Domain Comic Book Network seeks to audio-dramatize public domain comic stories from the Golden Age of Comics. From the superheroic Mad Hatter and Yellowjacket, to the over-the-top cowboy antics of the Cross-Draw Kid; from military goldbricks The Two Yardbirds to Archie knock-off Andy, we explore the lesser lights of comics' early days.

Like heroes who leave lots of incidental damage in their wake? Use dynamite to stop a gas fire? Wait until intermission to deal with a raging inferno they knew about before the play even started?

Re: Public Domain Comic Book Network (YouTube Channel)
Mmmm'kay... so I checked out a few of these and, well, I have a few comments...
This doesn't feel like an audio dramatization so much as a few people reading a comic book out loud. There's nothing inherently wrong with that-- and I'm probably biased because I used to work in the world of audio broadcasting-- but it doesn't really feel like you're taking full advantage of the medium. If you try to listen to the audio with your eyes closed, then there are times that the story doesn't flow or make full sense, because you're relying upon the visual media of the comic panels to explain what's happening. That's not really the way it works with an audio production.
Take the Pat Patriot drama and listen to the capture of the foreman without looking at the book. You can get a sense of what's happening, but most of it is lost.
If I could make a suggestion, it would be to try and be a little more liberal with your source material and not to be afraid to add extra narration or dialogue to qualify what is happening. Listening to some golden age radio might help as well. The old Superman radio shows are archived on Youtube and the Richard Diamond shows are pretty good at blending narration and dialogue.
