Re: James Bond Werewolf: Day 1
If Murska is less suspicious to you that means you would be a member of the group ascribing to the multiple bonds theory? Yes?
Otherwise murska would belong to a set of three that has two wolves in it. Hardly less suspicious.
Putting 'someone' in italics put to my mind the possibility you were obliquely putting yourself onto the James Bond list. I imagined you were also claiming.
I'll take that as a no?

Re: James Bond Werewolf: Day 1
There's only two ways of figuring this out:
Lynching one of the Bonds.
Scrying one of the Bonds.
If Kish and smuchsmuch are telling the truth, as well as Murska for that matter, either could die today and still have their second lives. If the lynch vote is tied, and everyone is truthful, there will be no town deaths beyond the loss of the second life for one of the two.
Logic, can you confirm that if a player has multiple lives and is selected for the lynch, would their name be specifically stated as surviving a lynch? For instance, if Kish and smuchmuch both have two lives and tie for the lynch vote, one would lose a life and the other would still have two. Would it be revealed which one survived the random lynch, or would we just be told that the lynch did not work?
In any case, I'm willing to believe Murska for the moment. I'm doing what I can to think like Mrs. McGinty, but it didn't work out so well for me last night. I thought I could use some of her ability to read the situation but I was mistaken. Feel free to PM me if you think there's anything to this.

Re: James Bond Werewolf: Day 1
My power isn't the same as Murska's. He knows what my power is (if he's checked his PMs anyway). I would prefer not to announce it publicly, beyond to say that I'm pretty sure any of the three of us who were lynched would die today.

Re: James Bond Werewolf: Day 1
I'm not sure why I should have to accept request for information from you while you still refuse to actually provide a reason for why you're voting for me even though I've asked you twice now.
That said, yes that's true. Though I don't know why he revealed that information as it just makes me a target for the wolves now.
Also what. There are multiple roles with the names James Bond with different powers? That's..... super odd.Last edited by Ramsus; 2017-04-08 at 04:36 PM.

Re: James Bond Werewolf: Day 1
I always wrote someone in italics, from day one So yes, that`s a no.
Currently, I`m leaning more toward multiple Bonds, after smuchmuch claimed as well... three is a bit weird. Still, I'm aware of the possibility of something fishy going on, but it seems less likely now, to me.Avatar made by lankybugger - Thanks a lot!

Re: James Bond Werewolf: Day 1
I'm assuming the question to Logic will go unanswered.
Kish is the only claim to really make sense at that point. If Murska is telling the truth, the only remaining use to their role post-getting-shot is as a "get out of lynch free" card, and why play that card when not under serious pressure? And smuchmuch as Bond doesn't have a good reason to claim today--maybe it would be smart to claim tomorrow after some lynch scenarios, but if Murska and Kish are both lying, why play into their hands by claiming?
My pick for the most logical two-wolf team is Murska and smuchmuch. Murska could be going fishing, with smuchmuch trying to stop the lynch if and only if someone (Kish) bites. Kish probably wouldn't need smuchmuch's help to lynch Murska, and why would Murska and Kish risk having zero town-Bond-claims for not much long term benefit?
If there are multiple Bonds, any or none of them could be wolves--Murska or Kish trying to kill Bond, or smuchmuch trying to blend in.
Three wolves is a possibility if there are zero actual Bonds and wolves somehow know this, but I've never heard of a wolf team that gutsy, and it's probably smarter to just have one wolf claim Bond in that scenario.
But then there's this guy:

@Sapo,
So you are sure there's a wolf in that trio but you're going to lynch someone else?

Re: James Bond Werewolf: Day 1
I'm not positive there's a wolf, but either way, I want AV to explain themselves.
If it comes down to Murska vs Kish I'll vote for Murska. Though I actually slightly prefer smuchmuch to Murska just because nobody else is nobody is voting for smuchmuch (and therefore no wolves are voting for smuchmuch).Last edited by Saposhiente; 2017-04-08 at 05:32 PM.

Re: James Bond Werewolf: Day 1
AV has been doing the self-vote thing for a while now. In case AV wasn't descriptive enough.
It typically only happens when they are Town. I think there was one time AV was a wolf? I seem to remember it was when the Mason-led network had a scry on them.Last edited by flat_footed; 2017-04-08 at 05:59 PM.

I actually make a point of self-voting in just about every game I'm in at one point or another, regardless of what side I'm on. I've probably skipped a couple here or there, but ah well. In any case, it's not a great indication of my alignment.
You and I must have different definitions of grump.

Re: James Bond Werewolf: Day 1
Apparently I've missed some AV games. I still find AV suspicious based on D1 (especially since MMcG flipped town) and still don't like their non-contribution today. But if there's a chance they'll actually be helpful down the line then the usual "may as well just lynch the unhelpful" isn't as compelling. On the other hand, while Murska and smuchmuch (and to a lesser extent Kish) have elevated chances of being wolves, they might be James Bond instead.
Wait, actually, if Murska is telling the truth, they have no further James Bond powers we would lose in a mislynch. Therefore Murska.

Re: James Bond Werewolf: Day 2
I'm inclined to agree. Why not give the Seer a chance to take a look at the potential James Bonds for a night? The real James Bond (if there's only one) might have benefits outside of having powers.
I'll put up AvatarVecna for the lynch to keep any potential Bonds from death.

Re: James Bond Werewolf: Day 2
Murska: Interesting that you assume Bond is an unlikely seer. Though perhaps it's not quite his lore, big-ticket names are the most likely to be Seers in general. And if not Seer, maybe something even more important. One-shot bulletproof is much weaker than I expect from James Bond himself. As for you in particular, because you are a good player, you have an awful tendency to get scried, so it may be good strategy as a wolf to put yourself to good effect before that happens. I could particularly see it if you are something like a Beast and the other wolves have nightly powers. As a wolf I would expect you to wait longer before claiming, but I would expect the same from Town, so that's null.

Well, I claimed I was attacked, which the wolves already knew. No reason to wait for that. I roleclaimed later because there was significant confusion in the thread, which is a bad thing.

Well, as crazy as it sounds, three Bonds seems less crazy than the alternative.
It seems likely that the scum would prefer to keep a miller around, so for now I guess I'll go with fuzzysora.

Re: James Bond Werewolf: Day 2
I did not claim and do not have knowledge of the baner's actions. I claimed knowledge that Murska could not be the one and only James Bond, based on my role PM.
I, like Murska, have a power based on the name of a James Bond movie. (i.e., I find his claim that his power begins with You Only Live Twice entirely plausible and likely...and to suggest knowledge about the way Logic phrased Bond's role PM that would be quite a lucky guess for a wolf. smuchmuch, I'm guessing your role PM also goes:
You are James Bond! You win with MI6.

I think at this point I'll put a tentative vote on
Bobb. They mostly seem to me to be trying to muddy the waters by looking like they're stirring the pot to get more information out.Last edited by Thematthew; 2017-04-09 at 09:31 AM.

In my experience self-voting is defeatist scum> defeatist town. AvatarVecna until he tries to lynch a wolf. Unless that's what he's doing.
