Re: James Bond Werewolf: Day 2
Hmm...Bobb's actions seem vaguely wolfy, but it's a lot like how they were acting last game, when they turned out to be an enthusiastic towny. I'd be good testing one of the Bonds, but a scry would do that better than a lynch, and the idea of multiple Bonds is an interesting idea. I'm not sure how I feel about the argument for voting fuzysora; I could see the wolves wanting to keep around a Miller, but a claimed Miller seems like they'd hurt more than help. Ultimately, that seems the strongest actual argument, though. Hmm...

Re: James Bond Werewolf: Day 2
Holy crap.
I'm James Bond, the seer. Wolves having a field day.
I asked McGinty about being a Bond Girl because I was told in my role to watch out for Bond Girls.
I scanned thematthew night one and got "no one in particular."
I tip toed around all the James Bond discussion because I wanted to know how many there were (and obviously believed there were many Bonds).

I'm "on her majesty's secret service."

Avatarvenca. I'm comfortable with everyone voting for him and don't want to die.
Tally:
fuzzysora: autolycusel
Bobb: Ramsus, thematthew, smuchmuch, aberratio inctus
Murska: Libro, fuzzysora, Saposhiente
Kish: Chambers, Murska
Avatarvenca: Duck, Kish, Indarra, snerk, Generic-guy, BobbLast edited by Bobb; 2017-04-09 at 10:37 PM.

Re: James Bond Werewolf: Day 2
Well, don't think I want to be voting for the seer right now... I'm going to move on to Libro I guess.
Their posting seems to be less one of trying to ferret out the enemy and get information, and more along the lines of going with the flow and not standing out too much.Internet access is consistent now, but I'm about 17 hours ahead of PST these days.

Re: James Bond Werewolf: Day 2
The wolves probably aren't James Bond. ...Most of the wolves anyway; there any Bond movies in which he tries to destroy MI6?

Re: James Bond Werewolf: Day 2
I'm not a Bond either. Bond Girl, instead.
EDIT:fuzysorastrikes me as just kinda going with the flow, not really...contributing, I guess is the word I'm looking for one. Seems like a wolf might try to coast like this.
EDIT 2: Although I guess if I'm to follow Bobb's example, I should vote to save my own hide.Libroit is!Last edited by AvatarVecna; 2017-04-09 at 07:25 PM.

Re: James Bond Werewolf: Day 2
Just to be sure, Bobb, do you know if your scry will find SPECTRE agents, or is only a "Bond girl/not a Bond girl" thing? (I'm wondering how significant your reading of thematthew was.)

Hey guys,
Sorry for the inactivity on my part, power's been off and on all weekend (with beautiful weather too, idk why). I'll try to get back in the swing of things at work tomorrow.
AvatarVecna was my first choice yesterday and that hasn't really changed since then.

Re: James Bond Werewolf: Day 2
I guess I need to check this thing more often, 'cause holy crap this moves fast.
Since role claims seem to be the thing du'jour, the cat might as well let the secret out of the bag...
My role is Q's apprentice (booster). I boosted Kish last night, no idea if they noticed it's effect or not.

Moved my vote off Murska, as it seems more probable now that they are town. No wolf reads at the moment, so I'll try to come back with a new vote soon.

I guess I'll also put my vote on Generic-Guy? He hasn't been super active and it's kind of too late in this day for me to figure out a better target (also I just woke up). And I guess if people want to do a chinese fire drill at least my vote would be doing something here.

Re: James Bond Werewolf: Day 2
More than one Bond, more than one Seer. Interesting.
Hi. I'm M. I scry'd AvatarVecna during the night and was informed AV is "an MI6 Agent." Please don't kill my Agents, there's only so many to go around."We have sent many to Hell, to smooth our way," said I, "and we are standing yet and holding blades. What more?"- Roger Zelazny, This Immortal

Re: James Bond Werewolf: Day 2
I did not notice any boosting last night, but I wouldn't have.
Bobb is playing like Bobb. 'Course, I've never actually seen his wolf play, so maybe he plays like Bobb then too.
I don't like any of the leading wagons at this point, so I'll switch to fuzzysora.Orth Plays: Currently Baldur's Gate II

Re: James Bond Werewolf: Day 2
Each night I can "Probe for the S.PE.C.T.R.E. agents!"
I think my warning re: Bond Girls was that Mrs McGinty would have come back as a SPECTRE agent even though town aligned. Possibly even all the bond girls would be millers. Which would cast suspicion on Avatarvecna since they claim Bond Girl but weren't receptive to miller.
I'll have to get another scry to find out if it's just a yes/no on SPECTRE. Having two seers it would make sense for them to both be incomplete.

Re: James Bond Werewolf: Day 2
Generic-guy, to help save my own keister.
Assuming I didn't mess up, the new vote tally:
(2) fuzzysora: autolycusel, Kish
(1) Bobb: smuchmuch,
(3) Murska: fuzzysora, Saposhiente, Felandria
(2) Kish: Chambers, Murska
(5) Avatarvenca: Indarra, Generic-guy, Bobb, GeneralH, flat_footed
(4) Generic-guy: Duck, Ramsus, aberratio ictus, Libro
(3) Libro: Snerk, AvatarVecna, Thematthew,
AV is presently in the lead.Last edited by Grand Arbiter; 2017-04-09 at 04:02 PM. Reason: forgot to take Snerk's vote off AV

Re: James Bond Werewolf: Day 2
I don't think MI6 agent and Bond Girl are mutually exclusive.

Re: James Bond Werewolf: Day 2
I'm aware of that potentiality. I wouldn't be surprised if we had MI6 Bond Girls, a non MI6 Bond Girl, and a SPECTRE Bond Girl (McGinty).
Just, seers don't out themselves for their day one scry, right? It smells wrong. And I want their stories to line up properly.

Bobb it is. You shouldn't just theoretically know it's a possibility.
