Default Is Roy a worshiper of Giggles, God of Slapstick?

In Comic 271, Roy suggests hitting Banjo over the head With a Blunt Object
Is his general antipathy for Banjo as well as his preferred means for expressing it forshadowing that Roy is a wroshiper of Banjo's rival, Giggles?

I mean, come on, what other POSSIBLE explanation could there be?!

Roy is either a worshiper of the Northern Pantheon in general, or noncommittal to any specific deity or group of deities. Either way, he doesn't put much stock in the gods.
“Evil is evil. Lesser, greater, middling, it's all the same. Proportions are negotiated, boundaries blurred. I'm not a pious hermit, I haven't done only good in my life. But if I'm to choose between one evil and another, then I prefer not to choose at all.”

But I don't think we've ever seen Roy eat a pie. That means Banjo is WINNING!

Well, Roy IS a future psychic, so it's pretty obvious he would know about Giggles before he first manifested...

And Banjulhu has sent Roy on a holy mission to stop the destruction of the world. Otherwise he will be never discovered by dark priests. It all makes sense!

    Regarding comic 271:
In the 8th panel of that comic we see the flumph cry 3 tears.
Every living character with hands has 3 fingers.
Roy's crown has 3 points shown.

The wheat in the guys mouth has 6 bristles, 6/2=3.
Bald people in suits with ties appear 9 times. 9/3=3
Bald secondary characters appear 12 times. 12/4=3

    2+3+4 from the math above = 9, 9 is divisible by 3
Banjo has 3 buttons on it's robe.
Shojo has 3 segments of clearly white colored facial hair.

    3 sets of 3...
    HALF-LIFE 3 CONFIRMED.

Loki doesn't like Hel, and Hel is Thor's rival, so obviously Loki must be a worshiper of Thor.

Bah! Until Loki starts suggesting that one should smite Hel with a Hammer or Thunder, you don't have a leg to stand on :P

    slapstick
    ˈslapstɪk/
    noun
    noun: slapstick; plural noun: slapsticks

comedy based on deliberately clumsy actions and humorously embarrassing events.

Of course he is! The first thing he did after regaining his life was to "forget" how to walk. How clumsy. How... convenient... Of course he was conveniently naked, too. Oh, what a humorously embarrassing event...

Obviously, the man's first actions as a living one, are prayers to Giggles, thanking him for his life. Yes, that's how Giggles followers pray. That's how they worship. They stumble down naked (To the keen observer, it is clear that Durkon made sure he'd be naked, respecting his religion). His faith couldn't be more clear if he yelled "PRAISE GIGGLES" as soon as he got resurrected.

Folks, seriously, stop asking questions with obvious answers.

Now I see what you are saying, but I must point out that, since Roy is a Future Psychic, he knows that Giggles will eventually be annihilated and assimilated into the unstoppable Banjhulu. Roy seems like a smart guy; why would he put his chips on the losing god?

Either he can't see that far into the future, or it'll come long after he's had his fun, cycled through the afterlife and reincarnated as one of those annoying yappy ankle biters.

Roy doesn't strike me as the kind of person who would want to get eaten first. On the contrary, he appears to be the kind of person to struggle in vain against impossible odds for the principle of the thing.

Where in the link does it say that? A direct reading always got me that Banjo could/would become that sort of entity. But hey at least he's the same as Banjo here and that there is potential makes this more semantics/nitpicking over tense anyway. yes I probably put too much thought into this
