I think when a BANG happens, that's the end of the round; the people in a circle get killed, and a new round starts, and whoever wasn't in that circle is part of the new round.

Under suspicion from multiple sides, Beskey "O'Pups" lashed out, firing and setting off a long chain reaction soon ending with a Pardner returning the favor to him. He may not live to tell the tale, but his friends will have three fewer townsfolk to handle.

Expected. The Lawless want to be late in the turn order to either avoid being in a Bang or to have their own vote decide who gets Bang'd, and with the numbers we started with, it's only worth it for them to complete a Bang with their vote if they can nab at least 3 Pardners. The only chain that would end with a Bang and take out 3 Pardners was voting for Lex-Kat. At this point, the Lawless' control over who would be last is kinda done, since unless I'm missing something major they won't have been really able to predict who was gonna point at who before the game started.

I encourage anybody and everybody who's considering their target to point at me this round, see if we can make it where the best-case scenario for them is only two people dying. Whaddaya say, partners, fancy your chances? Take your shot!

One of the problems with not explaining the details of your plan: not only does it do absolutely nothing to convince people that your plan is viable, but it actually makes them more suspicious because they think revealing your plan would give them a chance to pick it apart or look for ways. Maybe your plan will result in some decent information down the road, but with how our first day went, I'm inclined to think we don't have as much time as we'd like. Like, having my plan out in public gives people the opportunity to find issues with it, which makes them more willing to trust it because it's public.

I'm glad to see more people following through on the "minimize losses" plan.

One mister vecna, poor fellow, known for always pointing themselves out as suspicious, thought it best if everybody pointed at them. One parder disagreed, and so vecna shot him, but this chain did not carry any lawless, who soon after shot his remaining friends.

Astute readers will notice that the lawless put themselves all in a row right at the end of the turn order. Apparently, this was just crazy enough to work.

This sounds like it would be very interesting as a party game, but through playtesting it doesn't seem that conducive to forum format.

Agreed, having sequential points creates depth but doesn't work well asynchronously. I might try to run this as a turbo (get together on IRC) or else run it as everyone points at once, and if no loops are formed, all the people who didn't point die. And with simultaneous points, the game quickens, so I could also give everyone two lives.

Lawless QT

I think the forums work for this format, but town needs to be much more communicative. If Logic and AV had worked out their plans, I would have been forced to close the circle, leaving 2-3 Pardners and 1 Lawless. Having all of us go last, though, was a gambit I was happy to see work.
