So I have recently taken on a teacher-- someone who I pay for an hour of her time to look over my 30 minute- 1 hour sketches and give me some direction. Her name is Zelda and she is at zeldadevon.com.

I haven't taken an art class in roughly seven or so years (first year of college), and I found I had hit a plateau in the present. Zelda had a blog that I read, and I eventually had the guts to ask her, "Hey, where do you find teachers if you aren't plugged into an art community?" and she offered. I try to do a 30 minute drawing three or so days. Some of them are so bad, they don't make the cut of ever being posted, ha.

As for my Koi dude-- he was my first drawing with new tablet! I used photoshop. Everything photoshop.

I love your stuff! If there is ever a chance you want to do a trade, or maybe a small challenge, I would be up for it. I love meeting fellow artists.
