Sorry for no post yesterday. In the afternoon I got the news that we're letting around 25% of the staff here go and I'm the one who have to do it (today).

I hate doing these things, and it's quite taxing emotionally so I'm not sure I'll be posting today. Depends on how rough things get.

Apologies. Lots of things going on IRL right now.

Heads up: I will be travelling for around two weeks starting next Sunday, I think I'll be able to post as ususal most days, but I might end up without time or internet available. After that trip I'll be home for a week and then I'm off again for another week. Lots of things happening right now.

I'm still here for sure, not disappearing, don't worry! I love this game too much to do that. My weekend posting tends to be rough, though, so my post rate depends on y'all in that respect.

No worries, thanks for the heads up.

Flag me if you are all ready to move forward to the banquet, with the massive info-dump that will be contained there-in. I'm loving the role-play of this game SOOO much that I'm hesitant to push it forward before you are all ready.

Ready when you are. The plot relevant parts of Sarah and Julia's shopping trip seem to be over. I'm fine with you just summarising the rest as 'the two found/didn't find some nicer clothes'.

I don't want to hold people up, so if everyone are waiting for Eris I'm fine with doing a bit of a double timeline, jumping into the banquet and running her solo thing in spoilers until she's caught up with everyone at the banquet.

Agree with Anyr. Ready to move this forward when everyone else is. Really, all Julia really wants is some kind of surgical mask or something close enough. But like Anyr said, a summary of how it does or doesn't work is fine by me.

Yes, sorry I'm OK. Pre-back-to-school vacation and I forgot my tablet, put me behind on getting posts up.

I'll have something up in the next day or so (thank heaven's my wife sent it with my inlaws when they came out to join... yay.).

So a little something that came to mind: Tobias was ill by the time we reached the settlement, so he probably didn't take part in the feast, but whatever did happen to Richard?

Was just wondering whether had joined the rest of us at the feast, since it might just slightly impact a small detail in my post.

As a note: I'm probably never going to ask for a sense motive check in a social encounter, as I feel it's a hat tip towards evasive or dishonest characters.

I'm amazed at the relative sizes of our IC and OOC threads. Almost 1:1!

I haven't heard from Eris (fire_insideout) for some time. I hope they're okay. If we go much longer I may look for an alternate. :(

I just actually did a little check. They haven't been active for almost a week, and haven't posted in over three weeks. I echo your sentiment in hoping they're okay. But the idea of perhaps getting an Alternate wouldn't necessarily be a bad idea, though maybe wait on that till fire-insideout posts?
