How are you defining significant? It hit 65000 concurrent players with the release of 2.6 / Legacy League, which is now the top all time, but that's still fairly low compared to other games.

I'm super pumped for 3.0 .
I've been waiting for a major meta change for a while now.
Also it'll be great not having to play through 3 difficulties for each new character.

I mean, it's sitting at #28 for concurrent people playing it right now on Steam. And only about 1/2 of players play through steam.
So I'd call it significant.
