Default Magic the gathering - What's your favorite setting?

So, I'm a big fan of magic the gathering, I love wasting my money on papper with pictures and text on it :D

I also love the lore and the new setting seem to be based on ancient egyt, I'm not sure if I'm big fan of that. What do you guys think? If you could create your own setting what would it look like?

Also, what's your favorite setting? Mine got to be Ravnica.

The Lorwyn block is hands down my favorite. I find myself gravitating to its mechanics, and many of my go-to cards come from it.

Amonkhet is very good. The cards are flavorful, the mechanics (old and new) fit in very well, and it supports a variety of playstyles; my prerelease experiences were very grindy, but a couple of friends play explosive aggro from it also. I'd say you should give it a chance.

I don't know if I have a favorite per se, but I really enjoyed Tarkir's lore when it came out.

Big fan of the builds in Ravnica, and Mirrodin holds a soft spot in my heart for being the first set I was introduced to.

Ravnica is probably my favorite conventional setting, and the one I'd most like to write fiction or play a tabletop role playing game in.

If we're talking sets? Time Spiral block more or less could not be more perfectly targeted to appeal to me.
