Re: Orcish Fury feat questions
IRC it think it's just +1 weapon dice on crit.
so if you normally got 2d12 on a crit, you would get 3d12 instead.
Orcish Fury
Prerequisite: Half-orc
Your fury burns tirelessly. You gain the following
benefits:
• Increase your Strength or Constitution score
by 1, up to a maximum of 20.
• When you hit with an attack made with a
simple or martial weapon, you can roll one of
the weapon’s damage dice an additional time
and add it as extra damage of the weapon’s
damage type. Once you use this ability, you
can’t use it again until you finish a short or
long rest.
• Immediately after you use your Relentless
Endurance trait, you can use your reaction to
make one weapon attack.Last edited by N810; 2017-05-26 at 12:37 PM.

Re: Orcish Fury feat questions
It seems to work pretty much the same as Divine Smite, so you can use the feat after you know that you've crit and if you do the dice will be doubled.

Re: Orcish Fury feat questions
SHoudln't the die be doubled on a crit?
That means
- Normal 1d12
- +1d12 for weapon die being doubled (normal crit)
- Another 1d12 for savage attacks (half-orc racial feat/i don't think thi doubles since it is specific to a crit)
- 1d12 for orcish fury being declared (what my question is abt)
- another 1d12 for doubling orcish fury roll (crit doubles the orcish firy roll)?
That's a total of 5d12 for a greataxe on a crit.!Last edited by Creyzi4j; 2017-05-26 at 07:51 PM.

Re: Orcish Fury feat questions
I think it is just add a hit die once per short rest. With that feat that makes a half orc barb hits for 7d12 +Str. for a critical hit? So likely 7d12+7 assuming a 24 Str.
Man, I want that feat on my Half Orc Barbarian right now.

Re: Orcish Fury feat questions
Why is it 7d12? Can make a breakdown of why extra rolls happen?
Also...did u invlude rage dmg
Static Damage: +11 at 24 Str (+7) and +4 for Rage
Dice:Base damage: 1d12
Critical: + 1d12
17th level Brutal Crit. + 3d12
Savage Attack: + 1d12 on crit
Orcish Fury: + 1d12/shortrest
Total: 7d12 + 11

Re: Orcish Fury feat questions
But it's worded the same way as a Smite, which benefit from crits, so should this not benefit as well?

Re: Orcish Fury feat questions
Perhaps. I read it as a broadening of Savage Attacker. I am perfectly happy to have this and GWM to do 8d12+ 21 points of damage and the take a bonus action attack. That's 73 points of damage per short rest on a crit.
