AMEN XLVIII: Is there anyone?

"Yes sir."

Mr E hangs his head. No direct punishment, but a failure like this is shameful to him. He prides himself on how well he was able to keep AMEN informed, and this was a mistake just on his shoulders.

"As for the plan it has some good points, the trouble is in it current state it favors the demons in the control of Riverside. They have more way to influence the city than we do. But should they not betray us, we will still have sizable gains. Through if they try, there is something that could be quite useful in gaining an advantage."

Mr E looks up and pulls a file out from his shirt, which he holds out to Zefir.

"As for why I haven't mentioned this, I think they might have some mind readers so I wanted to make sure that you had enough mental defenses so they couldn't pull it out of your head. Its best that the people who may be planning to betray you don't know what all of what you can do."

Zefir's Office

"The side we fight on favors betrayal to much." Zefir comments.

Then there is that File. Zefir takes it. He takes a short breath, closing his eyes. He focus on any magic around him that seems to be different from the normal state. Since there is non he opens his eyes again.

"If they got any mindreaders trying to read me, you would have noticed." A bit kryptic, but he falls into a wrath when someone tries it. It happened in the past.

Zefir will attemp to take a look at the file.

((The collection is the dragon bones and silver they spoke of.))

Zefir's Office

The file is a set of schematics for a large mech suit, detailing armament and defensive details from a force field to antimagic runes. Most of the details deal with a weapon placed on the right arm of the machine, with heat management and storage size. After all, lava isn't the easiest thing to handle. Its one of lava cannons that Gordon was working on getting to a workable, portable model and it looks like E was able to get one of them to that state.

"I was not aware of that sir. As for the collection, we have enough silver to make 700 rounds of ammunition, as for the dragon bone we have about fifty raw bones, and about twenty more weaponable ones. Sorry but Vigil has been collecting these for much longer so its hard to get them."

Zefir's Office

"Looks promissing." Zefir comments on the plans. He sure seems to complain about the antii magic part, since he worked on such things for years now.

"As assumed." he comments the dragon bone things. "We started late and they got the advantage to buy it with their face. Anything else I should know?" He says looking at E.

Zefir's Office

"Well, there another thing that will be another powerful weapon for AMEN, but its hasn't been put together yet. We don't have all the parts for it after all."

Mr E pulls out another folder for Zefir to look at, one detailing plans for a large antlike machine.

"Other than that, just the latest regular reports for you sir."

[Zefir]

Zefir's Office

Zefir looks at the file. Not bad, but without a prototype nothing of use.

"OKay. Has there been anyone around I should know? The thing in Skyside didn't work to well. We only got one new member."

Zefir's Office

"I'm afraid not. The number of members is still extremely low."

Mr E shakes his head. Friendly recruitment is not something E is good at doing.

[Zefir]

Zefir's Office

Zefir nods. it was just to make sure he didn't miss anythign.

"Then give me the reports." he says. ((I guess if it is just common things we may handwave that?))

Zefir's Office

(Mainly common stuff, general knowledge of stuff in the cities and some events that the spies managed to notice)

"Very well sir. Anything else you would like me to work on?"

[Zefir]

Zefir's Office

"N..." he starts, but something comes into hsi mind. he goes for his desk an grabs some plans.
"Well, I got these plans i want them to be made. At best not in the base."

The plans are odd, for example one seems to be a chamber ith flamethrowers so anything or anyone inside get's incinerated. These things are for his personal training.

Zefir's Office

Mr E takes the plans and looks at them.

"Simple enough, so where would you like this be made. Inside, Riverside, out in the wilderness, or Atlantis?"

[Zefir]

Zefir's Office

"Inside" he replies. "And there is no need to tell anyone else about that." he says with a seriouse look that says 'or else it might hurt'.

Zefir's Office

"Can do. Just need to know if you want the construction workers making it to still around or do I need to disappear them?"

Mr E nods his head at this order.

[Zefir]

Zefir's Office

"Hmm." Zefir thinks. This is a hard decission. He sure doesn't want anyone alive to tell, but on the other hand he will need them in case something breaks.
"Keep them alive for now, but keep watch on them."

Zefir's Office

"It will be done sir."

Mr E nods and heads for the door.

Main Room

The main room has been filled with easels and canvas, as El Cuervo tries its hand at painting.

Zefir's Office

Zefir nods and let him go.
After some time he will leave his ffice as well, taking a walk around to see what's up. The attack should start soon.

Main Room

By some time he passes this room and looks confused at El curvos new hobby. Let's hope he uses at least paint and not blood or such.

"Eh, what are you trying to draw?"

Main Room

It is indeed paint that El Cuervo is using, through as for what its painting, its hard to tell. The color is close to the couch in the room at least.

"The room. It....not going well. ...I am not...very creative it...seems."

Main Room

"Creativity is not needed if you want to copy something." Zefir replies. "Maybe you should try to take some lessons, if it is painting you want to succeed."
