Heroic Bloodshed-movies
I've watched a few of these Heroic Bloodshed-movies (mostly John Woo) but there's one problem: Hardboiled and The Killer are in a league of their own, mostly because of action but also because of the characters and their motivations were interesting.
So, are there other Heroic Bloodshed-films that have as over the top action as Hardboiled and The Killer have? You know, plenty of guns akimbo, lots of rolling, diving, sliding etc. while shooting, discarding empty guns and getting new guns to shoot with and endless, endless waves of mooks that (rather optimistically) rush in to get shot by the heroes after dozens of their buddies just got shot. Doves are optional.
So, do you know any movies that have action similar to what's in Hardboiled or The Killer?Last edited by Raimun; 2019-02-22 at 04:55 PM.

Check out The Night Comes for Us. It is currently on Netflix. I don't know how similar you will find it to the two films you mentions, but it is definitely in the same general genre.
