I feel the need to give a shout-out to any Playgrounders in East Texas, and nearby.

If anyone hasn't yet made a donation to The American Red Cross and/or Houston Food Bank I encourage you to do so. Also, The American Red Cross is training volunteers to go to Texas in my area, and probably yours too. Though I have heard that getting volunteers there has been presenting a challenge.

This has been a bad year for the United States.
The April tornado outbreak in Missouri and Oklahoma.
Most of Idaho and a good portion of Montana is currently on fire.
Hurricane devastating the Texas Coast.
Another lining up to hit Florida.Keeper of the 49 Rules.

Colombia River Gorge is on fire too. Most of I-84 east of Portland is closed and a good portion of Oregon is under an apocalyptic-looking cloud of smoke.
Tell the people you love how much you care, because now seems as good a time as any.
