    Default [pathfinder] leader build brainstorming

Hi all, I am trying to build a character for levels 1 to 5 who brings mercenaries into battle. Specifically low skilled level 1 warriors that can be hired at 3sp per day.

I want to start with about 5 mercs at level 1 and end with 15 or 20 by level 5.

Can anyone think of good items, feats, class features, spells, etc. That can buff that many creatures and are readily available to a low level character.
    I am rel.

Assuming first party only, cavalier using tactician to share teamwork feats and/or bard for inspire courage. Possibly both via multiclassing or VMC.

Holy Tactician Paladin can grant a Teamwork feat of choice to your horde all day at 3rd.

Also at 3rd, you can take the Squire feat. It's basically "lesser Leadership", and later auto-upgrades into Leadership proper.

If you are doing bard and cavalier, then battle herald is a must. If you can get 3rd party the inspiring commander has inspire courage on the caviler chassis. One of the players in my group ran one and it was pretty awesome.

Mandatory leadership or a similar feat, Flagbearer is a great feat as well for a leader character.

OP said levels 1-5, so battle herald is irrelevant. Otherwise, yeah, that is the way to combo the two classes.

An Evangelist Cleric gets Inspire Courage and Channel Healing will be half useful with that many peeps.

If 3rd party playtest is a thing, you could try the Rajah.

By 5th level you don't even have to move anymore, just get carried around on your planquin while your imaginary friends pour you infinite beers.
