Looking for an Old platformer
Was recently thinking of an old game that I simply can't remember other than that I played it a lot doing After-school club
It is a console game from ... '96 I think? (I kinda want to say Sega Saturn? it certainly wasn't playstation, and I'm relatively certain N64 is just a tad to late release-wise) Its plot consisted of you being a Wizard apprentice, being sent on assorted types of fetch quests in different parts of his castle towers, which consisted of a couple of levels of vertical platformers each surrounding a theme, one of the themes being that you'd have to fetch some ice-cubes, so you climb a tower to fight a giant walrus (by somehow making icicles fall on it?)

Re: Looking for an Old platformer
actually went about putting Google through it's paces and found it
"The Apprentice" from 1994 to the Phillips CD-i ... and from what I can gather, probably one of less than a handful of decently/highly rated game for that console ... which was somewhat of a trainwreckLast edited by Sian; 2017-07-10 at 06:24 AM.
