[Ramsus]

I eat the crystal rod and unpack whatever is in the box.

[jakarta]

It is crunchy and makes your stomach pleasantly warm.

The is filled with wads of multicolor cloth as packing material. It contains lots of smaller boxes that glow from the cracks. Opening one, it contains glowing crystals wrapped in more bits of cloth.

[jakarta]

4 of the boxes seem to glow more than the others.

[Ramsus]

I eat the four brightest glowing things (not the boxes they're in). I then examine the sack. Is it really empty? Is it something I can wear or carry? If so can I do so while flying?

Well, it is the glow coming from the boxes that is brighter....

The first box contains one brightly glowing green crystal.

Gulp!

The second box contains 2 crystals. One is larger and is brightly glowing swirling white and red. The second is smaller and blue.

Gulp! Gulp!

The third and 4th boxes seem to be glowing brighter because they have more crystals.The third has 28 and the fourth has 15. Do you want to eat any from these boxes?

You reach into the bag. It seems deeper than it should be. You find:
a green cloth item,
a black cloth item with a leather band around it held by a piece of yellow metal ,
a multicolored green, orange, and red cloth item,
a metal pot filled with 130 disks of yellow metal that smell delicious,
2 black leather items with bits of yellow-red metal on them.

[Ramsus]

I eat two crystals from each the third and fourth box. Different color ones if they're not all the same.

I then try on each of the cloth and leather items individually to see if any fit me or I can at least figure out what they're for.

I will then eat one of the yellow disks.

So does it seem possible for me to carry this bag while flying?

The cloth and leather items don't have any magical properties that you notice.

The yellow metal tastes great.

The bag seems to always weigh the same no matter how much you put into it. (hint)

Oh heck yeah, bag of holding! I stuff the boxes of crystals in there too.

Also now I really want to know what the leather items look like.

I will decide to wear the multicolored cloth item (it comes with the hat right?).

Now clothed (for no particular reason) and with a proper pack and armed with a glowing black blade, I proceed to check out the next room moving towards the nearest end of the hallway. Unless I'm already at the farthest door on that end, in which case I start going the other way.

Tiny dragon is now wearing a kilt.

This room contains a large barrel, a shelf containing many sharp looking and bloody smelling metal and wooden items, and a table. You can't see what is on the table.

There is a door to the south and to the west. (you entered from the door on the east. )

Which door are you going though?

Oh ok. Well let's check out what's in the barrel and on the table before leaving then.

[jakarta]

You just ate or took everything on the table. There is a weapons rack and the barrel.

Looking in the barrel you see all sorts of strange items in a mix of sizes and styles (see mundane equipment and clothing section of PHB.) The barrel also seems to hold more than it should.

[Ramsus]

Hmmm. I decide it'd be too noisy to mess with those things and they don't seem that tasty. So moving on through the south door.

[jakarta]

The room you enter has doors to the east and west.

There are cabinets along the south wall.

In the middle of the room is an island counter. On it are a row of bell shaped glass jars.

The first four contain the creatures illustrated. They see you and bang on the glass. They seem to be shouting but you can't hear anything.

The next contains a insectoid creature wearing a red thing on his head. It sits crosslegged on the floor.

The next contains a floating multi colored crystal.

The next two contain creatures that look like little men with wings sorta like yours. one is red and the other black. the black one drops prone and begins worshiping you. The red one seems to laugh at him.

The next is a what looks like a flame with a mischievous smirk.

The next is a jaggedly bent line of yellow energy that keeps changing shape.

The last looks like a bent piece of wire with eyes. It blinks at you.

[Ramsus]

I attempt to cut open a large hole in the one containing the little man who made the correct decision to worship me with my black glowy weapon.

[jakarta]

He sees you trying to cut, and makes a lifting motion.

[jakarta]

Seeing his gesture, I'll instead try and lift the jar off of him. Even though I really wanted to test out the glowy thing.

As soon as the lid comes off by a fraction of an inch, it scrambles out and kisses your toe.

Master you hear in your mind.

[Ramsus]

"Yes" I mentally reply. I pause and let that sink in for a moment. Then I attempt to mentally ask the creature, "Tell me about yourself, your captors, and the other creatures here."

[jakarta]

I serve previous master. Captors capture us. Separate us. Kill him. Take his magic. Same fate for their masters. You my Master now.

[Ramsus]

I nod in response and then go lift the jar off of the ball of light with wings things next.

[jakarta]

Caution Master. Releasing them will bond them to you.

[Ramsus]

"Bond in what way? Explain further." I mentally reply.

[jakarta]

Called familiar. Bonded to you. Share life-force,
must stay close. If die you are injured. Familiar serve you, spy for you, teach you magic, watch your back, show you ways to power.

[Ramsus]

"Do you know anything about the personalities and kinds of power these familiars have?"

[jakarta]

Annoying, restrictive, judgmental. Apparently this applies to all of them.

Points at the bug guy with wings.

Noisy, confusing.

Points at the blue guy with no legs.

Slow

Points at the sitting insectoid.

Moralizing, odd

Points at the winged thing you were about to release.

Weak. Draws attention.

Points at the crystal.

Complicated

Points at the flame and the jagged line of energy

Disobedient.

Points at the shadow.

Will disappear.

Points at the bent metal with the eyes.

Useless.

Points at the other bat winged thing.

Insane.

"What if I just eat them?"

I don't know. What would happen, and if it is possible.
