Re: Dominic Deegan: Oracle for Hire
I exchanged Speed of Thought for Expanded Knowledge with Object Reading as the added power. I almost forgot to give Dominic his full hit die from level one.
On the issue of killer or sadistic DMs.

Re: Dominic Deegan: Oracle for Hire
Excuse me, I just remembered to add in Dominic's racial skill point bonus. Sorry.

Re: Dominic Deegan: Oracle for Hire
So, business as usual then.
Winning by the Power of Love (tm). Unexpected for me, though I really should have seen it coming. 'nother super-happy ending in the works. At least Dominic is getting upstaged.
Edit: Hehe, linking to TV tropes is fun and educational.

Re: Dominic Deegan: Oracle for Hire
Why do I feel like Mookie is always giving us an ultimatum?
"You can either have dynamic and interesting panel layouts, or you can have plot advancement. You don't get both. I'm not a God, here, people, who do you think I am, Dominic?"
I mean for Christ's sake, all the pretty panels in the world don't hide the fact that this has been the same strip for the past three says.

Re: Dominic Deegan: Oracle for Hire
@Duke Malagigi: Shame on you, you forgot about Spark's two most major skills (or would one of these be a tactical feat?): Speak In Alliteration and Death From Above!
Especially the latter is worthy its own entry in the 'attacks' category!
Today's comic: Oooh, the Power of Wuv! See, folks, you can kill 'em, but you can still use your memory of them to embue yourself with celestial power! Go Wuv!
But it's nice to see Milov saving the day, whereas the arrogant seer is getting devoured.

Re: Dominic Deegan: Oracle for Hire
...what the hell has been going on the last couple of days?
All I got was that there were tentacles of varying colours, and now Milov is wearing armour.
I mean, is this in their minds, real world, or are they all just trapped in some bad hentai movie?

Re: Dominic Deegan: Oracle for Hire
So do you think that this pretty much negates the whole cheating issue? I mean, after calling upon the awesome power of the memories that he has for Jayden I find it hard to believe that he hasn't completely forgiven her, and the fact that he killed her... illusion... doesn't seem to be an issue at all for anyone but Milov.
This entire arc is reminding me of DBZ way too much. I mean, it follows the entire premise of each battle arc to a T, where the heros are getting beat up then they remember who they are fighting for and become super powerful.
Also, isn't the crescent moon thing on his left leg the wrong direction? All the other ones on his left side are the other direction.
... Why does he have foot-guards? Or a loin-cloth?Last edited by Monnock; 2007-10-25 at 06:49 AM.

Re: Dominic Deegan: Oracle for Hire
You know, if we learn later that it was Dominic who helped Milov go Super Saiyan (by inducing these memories of Jayden or otherwise), I am going on a rampage and won't stop until I have devastated some minor area.
Eurasia should do.
Indeed. Isn't it tragic? He was angry at her for one booping night! E-mo-tion!
Presumably, they will decide that after all that happened they will have to seperate, but will stay good friends.
And it's not only new motivation and strength through desperation, oh no sir, it comes with a proper outfit, too.
Seems like this is degenerating into a super hero comic after all. It's a better outfit than SuperGreg's, but it's in the same vein.
...Oh dear God, no, please, no, no, no... please, make it so this is not the rise of yet another superhero, and there will be an arc where all the super heroes unite and we have SuperGreg, this armour-clad Milov and who knows who will don some weird outfit by then also?
Indeed. Either that, or they are all supposed to face right, and the one on his left arm is misaligned. But probably, it's the leg.
Cause Mookie thinks it's cool for him to look like that now.LGBTitP Supporter

The usual actually, worshiping Mookie for this amazing turn of events. But man, reading those comments makes me think they're seriously lacking a brain or something.

Re: Dominic Deegan: Oracle for Hire
Everyone else gets to be superheros, so I wonder when Dominic will don his super costume.
I also have to wonder if Milov's armor is only in his head, I assume that it is because otherwise it would be too stupid, but I also can't see it just being in his head because if its supposed to be his super bad-ass form then it would be dumb if he only used it once. Then again, SuperGreg has only, and will only, appear once.
It will only appear once
I assume from the previous panel and this one that Milov will now unleash his new 'Tentacles of a Thousand Hearts' Bankai.
