Default Building up Ulysses from the Odissey as D&D character

Hi, how would you build up the Ulysses-Odysseus from the Odissey as a D&D character?

Starting at 6th level with standard array or standard point buy

    High Charisma
    Decent Int
not great wisdom because he makes a lot of dumb decisions
    Strong enough
Dextrous(his bow is a big deal at the end)
    Healthy

    Class: (Battle Master) Fighter
Str (12) 19 {due to Gauntlets of Ogre Power (the single magic item he has).
    Dex 16
    Con 14
    Int 14
    Wis 8
    Cha 16

    Point Buy: 27
    13, 15, 13, 11, 8, 13
    14, 16, 14, 12, 8, 14

    Feat: Heroic Leader(level 6)
    ASI: +2 Cha (level 4)
Fighting Style: Something sword and board, probably dueling
    Proficiency:
    Athletics
    Deception
    Persuasion
    Investigation

    The other option is:
+1 Sword or +1 Spear (pick either, uncommon magical item) Style wise, either fits the Greek warrior of that era
    Class: (Battle Master) Fighter
    Str 14
    Dex 16
    Con 14
    Int 12
    Wis 8
    Cha 16

There was a thread about this a few weeks back. Search for it and you'll find it.

Mastermind Rogue is also not a bad multiclass to take.

    It's here.

After re-reading the Odyssey, I can say that Athena's favor has a huge impact on his adventures. Many of his deceptions flat out wouldn't have worked without her help, and several times he very likely would have died whether at sea or in battle.

So, perhaps a 1-2 level dip in Cleric (Trickery) or, as suggested in the other thread, some levels in Warlock with a refluffed patron.

I'll second the Mastermind Rogue. You'd probably also want at least 6 levels of some type of fighter.
