Any of you can confront the Vigil guys in the rescue scene. It should be possible to know where they are even with the glamoure due to the released trap. I guess the henchman continue to mostly deal with the fake sounds.

The organizations are mostly still around, though some of the names have changed. The various characters in charge of things have changed, disappeared, came back, etc. But generally things work mostly the same as they used to.

Morty was kind enough to direct me here from FFRP Central, so I thought I might pop in and say hi. I haven't done RP in a while, probably about a year, but I've been doing freeform on and off for over...wow, it must be about eight years. Nexus seems like a total blast. I don't have any characters yet, but I'll start making some soon.

There's always things going on, so it really depends on whether you want to get involved in serious plots and storylines right off or just some casual interaction. Putting a character in one of the tavern threads (Trog's Tavern, Dancing Fox Inn, Black Dragon's Den) is a traditional way of doing that.

Okay, it’s been several weeks, but I’ve finally gotten around to making my characters. Where should I post them when I finish writing to their profiles? Here, the character directory, or somewhere else?

You can choose to make a directory post, though it isn’t required. I personally don’t use the directory anymore.

When you feel like you’re ready, I suggest introducing a character in Inside, Outside, Trog’s, the DFI, or maybe even the Spooktober thread (probably one of the other ones though).

Throughout the Nexus, the weather has worsened. Unseasonably cold weather has brought with it several inches of snow, as well as a number of winter storms which have resulted in few deaths, but considerable inconvenience. This irregular weather shows no sign of stopping.
