"Alright, were going to get our papers together, and were going to walk in there, claim jurisdiction of him, and have him released to our custody. Assuming this works anyway. Sound like a plan?"

The doctor nods, and pats her belt pouch with its herbs and bandages as if to reassure herself it's still intact. "All set."

Sounds good. Let's see if we can get that foolish monk back. Percival rests his hand on his rapier and prepares to guide the others to the guard station.

Aurora takes a few moments, making sure she has the correct papers in order. The one's that show she is Dame Celest, a noble and properly titled knight. And that this is a legitimate map making mission. And she takes a purse of gold coins, allowing her to, if needed, offer reimbursement for the door.

That done, she nods. "All set."

[Archemist]

The mechanicals leave Farley alone for the moment in his cell. Percival doesn't see them again before he heads back to report to Aurora and the others.

Grouping up, the party heads to the main cavern together (Vettis, Percival, Aurora, and MacArdle) and Percival leads them to the precinct building. As they pause outside, it is very quiet in the old city.

Once the building is in sight, Aurora takes point, giving the impression of being the person in charge, and marches up to the front door like she has every right to be there.

Raising a metal gauntlet covered hand, she bangs several times in a hard knock at the door. Loudly.

She stands her ground, holding her papers, arms crossed over her chest as she waits. They have to come out eventually.

Vettis stands behind her and to her right at parade rest, with his rapier sheathed but ready to draw.

At Aurora's knock, a moment passes and then the door opens and Alpha greets you. "Yes, citizen? How may I be of assistance?"

It doesn't seem phased by Aurora being the second living creature it's seen today... or this century, probably.

"I am Dame Celest of Thaless. It has been brought to my attention that one of my servants has had a minor accident in which some minor property damage has occurred. I am here to collect him into my custody and if necessary to settle any fines this incurs." Aurora offers in response, presenting the construct with her papers as she does.

Alpha bows to the Lady. "Please come in." The mechanical escorts the group into a waiting room with small couches, and one or two bigger ones that are your size. Metal-bars/gates block the two side-corridors that lead further in from there, though. Alpha goes to a desk in the corner.

"My apologies, I was unaware we had official visitors, or that the prisoner had Thalessian citizenship." He nods, reviewing the papers. "Very good. All seems in order. I will bring you a copy of Form 1093-B-2 to complete and submit it to our District Solicitor-General to review and approve. Please have a seat."

Vettis looks around the room, moving to one side and away from the chairs.

"My apologies, I was unaware we had official visitors, or that the prisoner had Thalessian citizenship." He nods, reviewing the papers. "Very good. All seems in order. I will bring you a copy of Form 1093-B-2 to complete and submit it to our District Solicitor-General to review and approve. Please have a seat."

Aurora took that in for a second, interjecting at the tail end.

"Unfortunately we have a time sensitive departure and a scheduling with several other official's in and outside the boarders to keep. We cannot have a delay of more than an hour or so at most. If it's likely to take longer than that, will need to have the process expedited. Release him to my custody and jurisdiction if needed, I'll handle the fine portion of the program, and will take him with him in my custody, I'll deal with him when it isn't time sensitive."

[Archemist]

"My Lady, surely you understand the breach of protocol that would be. We haven't even *seen* the District Solicitor-General for one hundred seventy-two years and fifty-three days - you can hardly expect him to get anything processed in a rushed fashion."

"I will place a Priority stamp on it - that's the best I can do for you."

"Right, I really didn't want to have to do this but you've forced my hand." She took some additional papers out, and presented them.

"We do, as a point of fact, have Diplomatic Immunity. I was trying to be nice and at least see too it that the fine is paid. But if he has been out of contact for over a century, then I really can't afford the wait time that would entail.

As I am sure you are aware, The Diplomatic Immunity Clause requires you to release him, immediately. Any and all consequences for his actions are to be handled in the capital upon our return."

[Archemist]

"Let me see those. Hmm."

"I suppose we must, then. I will have our guards get your compatriot and we will escort him back to your embassy. I will still need your signature on his release. One minute."

Beta comes in to Farley's cell and attempts to cuff/move Farley again, explaining simply "Prisoner transfer request."

"Let me see those. Hmm."

"I suppose we must, then. I will have our guards get your compatriot and we will escort him back to your embassy. I will still need your signature on his release. One minute."

Beta comes in to Farley's cell and attempts to cuff/move Farley again, explaining simply "Prisoner transfer request."

"Splendid. Thank you. One more thing, my associate was suppose to have in his possession a construct, comparable in size and design to this one." She took out one of her miniature Monkey's, holding it up to be examined by them for a moment.

"I'll need that returned to me as well assuming you found it in the area you picked him up in." She stated that as she signed the document.

Vettis looks on, surprised that such audacity actually works. Nobles are truly a different breed of people.

[Luccan]

Percival nods. "Good then, hopefully we can clear this business and be on our way." He looks to the others "Shall we see if these guards can provide any information about the town? They should know something we don't. At least so no one incidentally offends them."

After some prodding from Beta Farley realizes someone is trying to move him. "Greetings, Beta am I to go on for my trial?" offering his hands to be cuffed.

[Archemist]

Farley is cuffed again but Beta does not seem talkative. Farley is escorted down the hallway and back to the main room, where the others are waiting. "Dame Celeste" is asked to sign a few things and asked whether her guard would like the key to his manacles. Alpha and Beta are the mechanicals present for the handover.

Celeste, for her part, signs off on all the paperwork in a professional fashion.


"Yes, were going too need the key as well, thank you. And I'll take the monkey. Vettis, if you'd be so kind as to take the key and Farley so we can be on our way?"

[Archemist]

"We can escort the prisoner to your embassy if you wish. Now that the prisoner is in your charge, you and your government are liable for all damages and a bill of complaint will be presented to your ambassador if the shopkeeper desires."

[Metahuman1]

"No, I think will manage with him with just the group we've got. And if the shop keeper desires to complain, we will of course attend to it." She offers in response, casually.


After all, not like form the look of it that was going to actually happen. Not that they could grasp that.

Bowing to the automatons a thought strikes him "First I must thank you all very much for showing me the error of my ways." Farley smiles hugging Alpha and the others "I do recall though that I had promised to help someone, would you be willing to help me with helping them or should I help myself to helping them?" Also does anyone have nails?

"Come to think of it, didn't you have some questions for them, before we get under way?" Aurora says as she turns and looks at Percival in a manner that made clear whom she was addressing.

[Archemist]

The automatons unfortunately do not have nails. "You will be liable to your own government now for punishment - the shop owner will have to file a grievance with your embassy."

They'll happily answer any of Percival's questions, also. They are helpful but terse.

"Excuse me we are trying to find a Caretaker, Mr or Mrs Mandala wants us to help find them."

I'm also curious as to what the districts are and where each can be found. This is my first visit and I've yet to see anyone besides my companions and you constructs, so knowing where we could find a guide would be appreciated.

"We are available to direct you if you have a destination in mind; we know of the Caretaker but do not know her whereabouts at this time. The city of Sarsis is a single district, one jurisdiction. The city is divided into three main regions by level - this is the uppermost. Sub-city one is rarely visited, as it routes the logistics of the city: power, water, etc. And below that is the entrance to the mining levels."

Aurora glanced at Percival and Vettis and the Doctor at that information. "Lady's and Gentlemen, I am open to suggestions on were to go next."
