    Still can't find where it says oozes are better at squeezing. It's not in the black pudding entry or ooze traits. I know it's specified in later editions, but doesn't appear to be in the srd.

    With being an amorphous ooze even the gargantuan one can go through the doorway.

    Is current plan:
    1/ Lan full attacks to split it into as many chunks as possible
    2/ Zarina, Mir and Merrick unleash fire!
    3/ everyone walks backwards a little, rinse repeat!

    It worked well with Lan hitting a DC30 spot to notice it

    In the game there is only a small bit of an ooze remaining now! Mirriana needs 1 hit to destroy it. Not such a hard encounter! An AC of 3 isn't too bad

    I think when Mirriana hits level 12 I might retrain a few feats. I'm reconsidering Shield Specialisation, Shield Ward, Improved Initiative and Extra Turning.

    The first two can be condensed into one feat with Parrying Shield from Lords of Madness (plus a better shield), and the other two just don't seem to be giving me much bang for buck. I don't use turning much (and the effectiveness is going to reduce as RKV levels don't stack), and won't in future unless I abuse the RKV swift action mechanic so three should be plenty.

    That would give me three open feats to think about.

    Ok. What sort of stuff you considering?

    I'm thinking of doing the same with smiting spell that hasn't ever been used. Something basic like empower or extend may be more useful.

    Iíd say keep the turning, using DMM Quicken since it looks like DMM persist isnít being used. That would let you rip out some of those rnd/level buffs that youíd hate to waste a turn on normally, especially when you can get more swift actions.

    Smiling Spell I agree on, since it doesnít alter spell cast time of the spell, duskblade it is not. ☹️

    I don't really know what I'm going for yet. When Mirriana was lvl 1 she didn't have tower shield proficiency, but she picked that up when she went crusader. A common swap would be tower shield proficiency for exotic shield (extreme shield) proficiency. That would effectively trade some resistances against bull rush etc for an extra feat. Could then pick up improved shield bash and agile shield fighter for some extra offense. Still have a feat left over.

    Alternatively I can take a tower shield and gain a feat and 1AC at the penalty of -2 to hit. I'd then need to do something with three days to make up some extra offense.

    So I'm not really sure what I'll do with the liberated feats yet. I figure I've got a month at least to think about it!

    Per turn undead and divine metamagic, I feel that anything that can be purchased with nightsticks or metamagic rods I probably shouldn't be spending feats on. Obligatory moan to point out how we're all generally under-wealthed and organically grown. At least the newcomers got to choose their items!

    Well that's a cool 1325gp per old guard (Mir, Mer, Lan and Z). Could Z pick up the Ring of Blades potion?
