    Also, we could say Tal after much soul-searching decides to follow packmate Goattracker in his mission.

    Ah. The spider spake of. Does a spirit shaman' ghosty hitting thing work on a phased opponent perchance?

    Edit: Er, did we do any vigor-ing? That fort fail just put me at -3 HP otherwise.

Lan's sharp eyes can make out the chanderliers decorated with dozens of small figures although from the ground its hard to make out more than that - you'd get a better view from the gallery walkway. On the gallery to the North and South are fluted arches with high decorated reliefs (again hard to make out the details from down by the door) and in the centre of each a set of double doors of the strange whorled stone.

    Yes you can see the Spider. Or at least you can see a glowing faerie fire outline which amounts to the same thing.
    Also yes, I had thought you ahd healed up.

    Don't think of them as strangers, think of them as mounts you haven't met yet.

    And Ghostfoot, did you ACF away your paladin mount? At your level you should at least have a hippogriff.

    All good for now, thanks though. I deliberately set Elkist up as a melee-only character but if it gets too tedious I'll swap her spell selection around for some sort of flying or ranged capabilities.

    I've only got Pal 4 and the mount comes online at Pal 5. Am planning to go Spirit Shaman from now on so I won't have to worry about a mount.

    Potential crit: greatsword (1d20+5)[17] damage (2d6+10)[13]
